Czech dis out:

Gets you level at 150km/h and 1m/s climb at 110km/h in an ASW20.

That's what I call a "Turbo" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Haha, excellent!

I saw a video somewhere of a guy who'd put two RC jet engines on a turbo mount. The glider became self-launching and powerful enough to do an aerobatic routine at airshows..

Last time I did the sums on this the really exciting thing was the prospect of converting the water ballast tanks into fuel tanks. If the engine was sized for self-launching then you've got a useful GA aeroplane far more interesting than a Cessna 150/152.

The article say the jet fits easily into the cargo deck (needs about 1/3 of the space).

So two jets would be possible on almost any plane.
Now let's talk about excessive thrust http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

The only problem is getting the sukker running on the ground. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Does the word 'fellas' relate to '********' in some way?

I need to know if the thread is about my gliding experiences.

There was a Discus which was destroyed by fire last year in the UK - dry grass in wheel-well, jammed brake, towed across airfield by car, fire in wheel-well, fire in turbo fuel tank, then nothing left but a black cross on the ground and two wingtips, and probably a lot of smoke, and a very distraught pilot/driver/owner.
