A-26 Business End

My father-in-laws A-26 at Okinawa in 1945.

He flew 50 combat missions in Europe, including the first two attacks on Ploesti in B-24's, before transferring to the Pacific, where he inflicted serious punishment on the Japanese.

His name was Curtis E. Taylor, and I am proud to be married to his daughter, Judith, who is prettier than her mother, who is pictured below.

Could You tell us what unit did he fly in (when this photo was taken)? That might be interesting for modellers, because Pacific Invaders photos are very rare!

He was in the 319th Bombardment Group at Okinawa. The photo is dated July 1945.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
