Hi all, just posting a short update on 'White 11', the aircraft that became '00-L' when painted bright red in USAAF hands. This is it so far, but it doesn't look right to me - what else do you think it needs? I know I need to sort oiut the weathering on the undersides to counter the mapping down there, but what else is there?

My uninformed opinion is that the rivets need to be a tad (but only a tad) darker/more pronounced. One trick a squaddie of mine used to great effect was to draw two sets of rivets, slighly offset from each other, one in the camo colours and the other in a darker "shadow" colour.

Other than that and the weathering I can't think of anything else.

Thanks for the replies guys. I do use the twin rivet layers myself, but I'll sharpen them up a bit to make 'em more prominent if you like. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
