Ghost Recon Future Soldier green screen freeze

Hey,
Recently got this PS3 disc, and was prompted to install the updates when first played.
Now, when selecting 'Start', game goes to a full bright green screen, and does nothing else.
Controller buttons do nothing to proceed or remove the green screen.
Need to remove disc or restart PS3 to be rid of the green screen.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Were you ever able to find a solution for this issue, or figure out the cause? Did fully rebooting your system help? Also, did you test the game on a different PlayStation Account on your console to see if the issue was isolated to your primary account? Thanks for any information you're able to provide. :)
