In my opinion Saitek is making the best sticks now. I didn't want to spend too much money so I got the cyborg evo after using the MSFF2 for three years. For the money it was a great deal and looks cool. It also seems to be of decent quality. Saitek also makes the X45 and X52 which are probably the premier joysticks on the market right now.

I agree with the dancing fellow http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

CH is the way to go, unless you are on a budget I guess.

I didnt had the money to buy a X45/X52 so I bought the Saitec Cyber Evo. It's very good for the money.

I got a Thrustmaster Cougar and Never looked back.

Very sturdy, very precise, and just a great bit of kit in general. and doesn't look as "Spacey" as the X-45.

Busts the bank abit though, at about $300 USD

sub 100 dollars (US) = saitek- the 30 dollar cyborg or the 80 dollar X-45

sub 200= saitek X-52

price not an object? CH or Cougar, just remember you have to buy rudder pedals for those sticks.

most importantly-stay clear of Logitech sticks, especially their FFB ones, what is the opposite of precise? or high quality? anyway, Ive had one , their best, and it was junk in 3 weeks.

CH

I wish I could advise you on a less expensive option, but the cheaper sticks fail at such a high rate that they simply are not a good value over time. I would say get a CH Fighterstick UBS and USB pedals to start and then decide later on if you want the throttle.

I like the Saitek X-45 so I don't have to use the keyboard. The programming software is pretty good and easy to use.

Welcome to our community, BTW. This place will help you get the most out of your game experience. Check out the movies in the moviemaker forum, too!

And FYI, typing in all CAPITALS is considered the equivalent of SHOUTING http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ...not recommended.

My FF2 is starting to feel it's age now I just wondered if CH do FF j/stick, wouldn't be suprised if they didn/t, maybe a bit gimicky for them! Hope they do because for quality nothing beats my old flightstick.

How good are Saitek FFB joysticks? I'm thinking about getting one.

I have a Saitek Cyborg 3D Force Stick and I love it. FFB is great. I'm not going to play anymore without FFB.
