What are "slick" tires and what are their benefits/disadvantages? Thanks in advance

Sounds like a racing game to me....

I think you've found the wrong forum. We're happy to have you stay but we tend to talk about things that go faster than F1 racers and have wings.

Slicks have no groove pattern therefore dangerous in wet conditions but provide more traction in the dry...dunno why they are being reintroduced, presumably to make F1 more entertaining to watch.

This goes to prove that quite a lot of people don`t read where they`re posting, even if a big pic of an aircraft is on the heading.

Anyway, slicks aren`t new.

'Slick tires' is a typical British dessert, often served with coconut peel and apple smithereens.
