Ta-183 in 4071b is now so UBER you have NO NEED to guide the X-4's any more. It is so fast you can get in close and have a knife fight with the Dicke Hund.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

TA is a new plane now, it has nearly the climb-rate of a ME 163...900km/h are no problem in level-flight.

Exactly! But what I want to know is if it has a safe minimum range. If I setup the B-29 with NO ammo and fly right up behind it in formation. Then fire at ridiculously close range, will the X-4 detonate and kill me too!

But I think it indeed has a safe range feature. I already tried that and for some reason the missle didn't explode, so I guess you have to have some distance there. Pure speculation from one incident only, though.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I fired this shot from far enough away so that it armed and blew the bomber to smitherines. However, I did do my afore mentioned test, and there IS a minimun range. I am impressed. I did not expect that to be included.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
