Ok, well lets just assume that sloth-trim doesn't muck things all up...

Does anyone have 'recomended' flight parameters for any of the planes in FB? Like: best cruise speed, climb/ bank angle, and that sort of thing.

I was thinking it would be fun to build missions based on flight characteristics of the planes involved. Just for giggles and what-not.

Plus I'd like to pay more attention to the instruments than I have. (Some Civillian Sim) has me interested in this junk, for some odd reason... maybe I just think that knowing this stuff might be an advantage in a furball, although it probably wont.

Hey BaldieJr !

any patience left ?

It will take some time - but part of your questions will be answered at http://www.icaghq.com.

Right now "Theory of flight" is almost finished ..

We are working on a documentation project of that kind.

Cheers

Remember that the first law of motion is to look where you're going. A man with a stiff neck has no place in an airplane.

Snip,

Excellent reading. Thanks a lot.
This:

is very interesting material.

Now, if they would just do something about this arcade trim model....

I found the charts from Tailspin to be uber helpful when i first fired up FB.

Maybe its just me, but CEM seems very odd. I dont know enough about it to pass judgment, but it seems unfinished and the planes dont seem to respond correctly to pilot input. I am waiting until the next patch or two until I take the time to learn all the CEM stuff.
