This mod is supossed to do the game more realistic. If you give a glance at http://www.uboat.net, you'll learn that most of the subs never sank anything really big -they used to be happy if they were able to sink something http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

i understand that part..but knowing what i do about shipping ..sending ships out with less than rated capacity is pointless..but so be it ...christ a small merchant is over 3k.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I personally don't see the point of lowering the ship's GRT either...

This is my Hypothesis...If you are playing 100%...using manual targeting...in rough weather...perhaps limiting your naval gun attacks...You will come home to port with realistic patrol results.

Also, I think that the time for refit and rest or shore leave should be longer between your patrols.

i have a great uncle that was a merchant officer in ww2 ..start to finish..he's old but still sharp..in passing i brought up the tonnage issue..he laughed..also said it would be easy to spot her..even in ballast to keep the keel down..she would ride high ..i love berrys mods but this should be addressed if we base it on what we have then a liner should be about 10.000 grt and a bb should be about 15.000 grt a small coastal would be about 50 grt ..and so on..along with 500 grt destroyers?..but i lumber on in my 9b..all 500 tons of her if we use the new tonnage ?.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
