Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to use my (car) racing pedals to control the rudder with? The pedal box contains three pedals that work on different axis. Would it be possible to make the rudder go right if i press the throttle and left if i press the clutch? Also would it be possible to map the break in PF to the break pedal? If so how.

I know it's possible with two-pedal unit, because I use them just that way http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif. The only thing I have to remember before playing is switching to "combined axis" in controller preferences, then the game will see the "pedal axis" as just another axis, which You can map without any problems.
I don't know if it works with three-pedal units. Is it possible to combine any two pedals to the single axis there?

For more info on using this idea with different racing wheel types, use the search button http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif, because this topic have been discussed in both: GD and PF sub-forums quite a few times.

It's possible to combine the brake and the throttle, but this would be really awkward to use because the brake pedal needs more pressure (stiffer springs) than the throttle. Plus the fact that the break pedal is on the middle of the pedal box while the clutch and throttle are on the sides. I searched for my pedal box type, but i didn't get any hits. My pedals doesn't come with a wheel and it's not sold in any electronics store, i had to import them from the UK (i live in Norway), so they are quite rare compared to pedal that come with, say, a Logitech wheel.

An util that would make my day would be an util where i could combine any two axis the way I want, does anybody know if such an util exists?

Not sure about a utility to do what you want, but I have another option.

Buy a cheap 3 axis USB joystick (10-20 Euro) and 3 good quality potentiometers or hall effect sensors and MAKE some pedals out of scrap metal or wood. Wire the sensors in place of the existing sensors in the cheap USB stick and you have a functional and reliable set of USB flight pedals with toe brakes for only 20-40 Euros.

Edit: Plus four spare buttons if you make the wires long enough to put the remainder of your cheapo stick on your desk.
