yes, rome is the only place you can go to in acb's FREEROAM. but dont worry its bigger than all ac2's maps combined http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif oh and remember the last level of ac2? well they will have more levels like that, you know how you get to run around the vatican, in rome? its been confirmed they will be sending you on more missions like that. imagine all the maps in ac2 (other than the apinine mt's) without any loading times, with new bigger landmarks, and new playable in-mission maps, and you have the general idea of acb's map http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif yay 100th post http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Thanks for the info. it does indeed sound awsome. from the looks of it they are useing all the previous stuff from the other games and their own stuff. the freerunning from ac2, plus a backflip to get past those annoying poles. the civilian saveing from ac1, plus they join your guild. rome. all your weapons from, plus axes and halberds. it makes me sound like a developer, 'cause im praising it so much http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

They have confirmed we can visit different locations except Rome...but probably just linear missions
"Also, there are unique missions, which require Ezio to travel to other locations in Italy (Naples, Monte Circeo, etc.)! You’ll get to visit the interior of various landmarks or get to travel to a small countryside city to destroy a unique war machine designed by your friend Leonardo"

And, in Multiplayer, I think we'll get to play in Florence at least, maybe venice or tuscany as well as rome.

The "small countryside city" could very well just be a hamlet in the Countryside District of Rome.

Yes Rome is the only city, but mabey ubisoft could relaese the other cities without any story line involved to free roam in as downloadable content.I think it would be cool to use all the new abilities on the old maps.

The tombs in AC2 were effectively seperate from their cities. One reason I enjiyed them is that I didn't experience the horrible franmerate crawl that I did in the ciies 'outside'.

It's possible these 'village' missions outside Rome with similarly be 'pocket universes' in ACB's world.

this game sounds so good pluss it has no downfalls. ac2 was mint and now they bring acb which will be better pluss multiplayer. mind blowing. but back to the 'rome being the only place', it doesn't bother me because its so big and has so many landmarks and they even said there will be different levels eg hills etc
