Well we had a blast at Waddington AS last weekend and IL2FB played a big part in it.

Our interactivitycontest runs on it and ppl are cueing to play the mission.
We got sponsored by MS on HW so every PC had a FFB2 giving them one of the best controllers available for this wonderfull sim.

There wasn't an hour passing or several ppl had asked whether we sold the sim, lol.
Some even dared asking whether we were running CFS3.....ROFL

Well we didn't laugh (we did afterwards after the AS) in thier faces, so we kindly explained that we were running on IL2FB and that they could try it out and see for themselves how good it was.. and in the mean time win prices.

We had a mission running that put 6 to 7 contestants on the parallel runways where they had to take off (helped by our members where necessary) and were then engaged by numerous 109's and FW's.
For those who thought that running off was the solution, they were soon dissapointed when they ran into a flackbarrier that drove em back to the fight.

The last two that stayed up in the air were selected for semifinals later on the day.

In turns we did some missions ourselves to show the public the possibilities of the sim.
All this happend on three huge screens from 3 by 2.5 meters.

You can imagine we had a blast.
Fun was that we met several online friends with whom we have been playing for several years.
