I have experienced some perculiar things with GM-1. I have tried to use it from 3500m to 7500m. The second time I engage it during a flight, the engine starts to sound bad (squeek), it seems to loose power, the rmp-needle becomes unsteady. Does GM-1 ruins the engine.
By the way isnt it a good idea to change ussr to allied and germany to axis in FG/AEP?

Yes, GM-1 ruins the engine. Use GM-1 above 9,000 meters. You can run it nonstop, but don't let the engine overheat.

If jugent is "different" and flies 109 Email 7/Z, the last I tried the GM~1 can be safely used above 6500m. I have not read what the Deal is about increasing the minimumnumnum altitude as the WAR drags on.

Bf109 Female with GM~1 would be Awsum 1941. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

guess its todo with boost pressure, gm1 injected in could give too higher a pressure and damage engine.

ta152 has better supercharger, so it maintains boost till pretty high

Yet another case that could have been solved by a proper database (object viewer is largely incomplete, missing things like supercharger stage altitudes and other) available somewhere in arming screen. Be sure.
