View Full Version : Anyone else think these guys should make the next batman game?

Whenever I think of this game I think of Batman patrolling the city and interrogation to find the next bad guy. They should make the next batman game but change the obvious things like the time and the ability to kill, and different weapons. It would breath new life in to crappy batman games.

batman sucks, tbh

i agree, i would love to see a good batman game. batman begins had potential but batman needs to show off all his awesomeness like detective work, acrobatics etc...

What if in AC 2 you assassinate Batman! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

batman ftl.

As said, batman has really had his time, and it'd be pretty old (imo) to play as him. Assassin's Creed back in the day, with Altair riding his batmobi...ermm I mean horse around. http://media.ubi.com/us/forum_images/gf-glomp.gif

They should make a cheat so that you can switch your character to batman (cape flaping around)

I think Assassins Creed has revolutionized the concept of jumping from building to building. In games, atleast.

I gurantee you that games will start to rip off AC.

A Batman game or hell, even a Zorro game, had the free-running mechanics.....it'd be a huge leap in progress to capturing the characters.

I wonder if the developers of the Batman game will come knocking on AC's doors for the engine.

There are batman games?

I hate batman games

I was talking to my wife about this, she's a huge batman fan. She likes some games, but she's not too into it, she mostly plays puzzle/tycoon games. I started talking about the story idea of AC and she didn't seem too interested, but as soon as I said "think of it as a 12th century batman, she started geeking out over the idea and paid more attention to the videos/commercials. I guess to get to the point, I totally agree that you could make an amazing batman game off the AC engine.

Batman never goes in crowds...maybe a umm french revolution game ok think about it for a second with me:
Replace the throwing knives with one or two single shot pistols.
Keep the dagger and sword.
You could keep the hidden blade I guess or maybe a hatchet.

Yeah..I think these guys should make the next batman game provided they keep the investigation and free running techniques.

11-11-2007, 11:00 PM
Batman doesn't really investigate, and he just uses his gadgets. I mean these guys could make any game and make it great. Like they could even a button mashing game would be great. Like make a realistic Trojan war or something when there is almost no space on the battlefield

Your right Stealthguy, the detective stuff is also right up Batman's alley. Hell, it IS his alley. Interrogations to get information is too.

Damn, AC seems to be Batman in the crusades.

Oh, and with the killing too.

The new batman is set in Gotham City and u go round saving people its true

11-12-2007, 09:55 AM
There will be a new one when the next movie comes out.....unfortunately http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah, but there will also be a Lego Batman game.

Now that's something everyone can be excited about.

And, I have a feeling that the company behind Hitman, who's working on The Dark Knight game it seems, will look to AC. I mean, the parkour stuff seems so well done, and spying on people and investigating...AC could be the blueprints for a Batman game really.

AC will probably get a sequel though....so, it should be a while til Ubisoft gets another crack at Bats.
