View Full Version : 102 000 tons. Finally!!

I finally found convoys using my new IXb boat, since they seemed to disappear. So, sinking 2 ships per attack on one convoy, as well as some lone ones, i got this tonnage... That big torpedo load surely came in handy, especially considering 3 or 4 duds I had.

Great work Foehammer!!

Could you please tell me what realism level and mods you are using?

Nice work on those ships!

57% realism (yeah i know i know), no mods at all, patch 1.4b. Sailing on a diagonal between Am 51-Am53. Also, sinking a Fiji in Loch Ewe. BTW, i could turn on limited fuel, but i really don't feel like sitting here for an hour while my boat sails at ahead slow or 1/3. Too impatient http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
And no, i did not go to my patrol grid

I don't find limited fuel much of a limit, really. In a IX-C, with all the engine improvements, slow ahead equates to 20K+ miles range, if memory serves.

What I like to do is to make most of my run to the PZ at slow or 1/3. I save anything faster for intercepting targets and/or the return home.

Ok, i'm gonna turn it on in this next patrol. We'll see what happens

Great Work foehammer

check out my last patrol, you know the one with the hurricane that wouldn't go down in my other thread. Check out the difference in dates between the catalina being shot down and a ship sunk, that was a long storm.

What do you think? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Nice good job.. Also, note how all you have is tankers, c2 and C3 cargos, and how i have coastal/small merchants http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Because all C3's and tankers were neutral http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
