Herr Generalle... lots of small questions http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

this sounds like you've set the depth to deep. I set mine at 2m max. I think it took 2 years to sort the impact firing pin out, as I remember that the USA navy took about the same amount of time to do the same.

Depth at 3 metres an impact pistol on C2s for me, hit them in the right place and you can sink em with one torp. Always do under the keel shots with tankers and smaller merchants, get some good results with these methods.

Even if your angle is right, the depth seems to be the key. If you run too deep you hit the curved part of the hull going towards the bilge. Hitting the curve can cause a dud. Better to go shallow and hit the fairly straight slab sided portion of the hull.

P.S. ever see a torp bounce off a hull and go after it again when it recovers from the recoil? Pretty funny, and very satisfying if it explodes on the second hit.

Amusing, yes, but also highly phony. The laws of physics put this one to the lie. A torpedo that glances off of its target does not pause, then propel itself again at the same target. Physically impossible. Enjoy the cheap laugh the game provides. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
