Not really into World War 1 fight sims - only couple I know of, but wouldn't it be good if Oleg could produce a World War 1 sim based on the Sturmovik game engine - I for one would purchase such a flight sim

Your in luck my friend, Becasue a Russian game developer is creating a ww2 sim based on the il2 engine called "knights of the Sky". I think its due to be released in fall of 2007.

Well, I don't think that it will be based on the IL2 engine anymore - hopefully it will be good anyway. The 3D models look good at least, but what does that have to do with it really http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

There were many 3rd party 3d models developed for Sturmo . It all started with IL2Center.com Many of them are in the game now http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Some never made it in (yet?) There used to be a 3d model database even, so people could see what was under developement and how far it was These days RRGStudios and Grennadich Team are the only ones I know.

WW I planes need another Damage Model (because of the woodframe & textile skin
