UKDedicated3 is now running UI v1.2 with Zuti's moving dogfight server mod. We're still learning but so far it is looking very good and adds a huge amount compared the standard DF server offering (imho).

By moving DF's I'd imagine that you mean the front advances/retreats depending on the results ??

Great news,I'v always heard a lot about the UKDedicated servers but for some reason never made my way there,I'll definitely pop by now for a look and play.

K_Frddie I think it means that things like trains,cars and boats can all move around the map during the mission.

So far UKDedicated3 has missions with
- moving ships
- moving ground targets
- AI planes
- Ground based radar
I believe that moving frontiers etc. are possible but we are taking and testing one step at a time.
For example, the more AI planes, moving objects, flack etc etc added to the map, the more the load on the server and therefore the gameplay suffers.

Interesting! The family and I are in the process of moving into a new house. I have not flown online but a few short hours in over a year. I think once we are settled in Im going to dust off my CH gear and TIR4 and make UK3 my first stop. Thanks for hosting. I been waiting for this mod to make its way into a high profile server.

hi guys

With this Zuti mod, the server admin, can, lest say, spawn a flight of AI planes?

i.e: at a given time, spawn AI squadrons to support ground troops

one other thing, how's the performance with tracks? are they recorded properly?

I am having problems recording tracks online in the Spit vs 109's mod (4.09b1m) with its new maps

the AI planes, ships and vehicles are set by the map maker.
calling ground control to get fighter cover is via the comms menu.

Be aware....

The Zuti Mod is very buggy. You may start seeing random lockups and such if too many moving units are added and a lot of players.

Just a fair warning to the admin.
