Ubi,

If there are servers, where are the searchable lobbies?

First, Breakpoint could be a great game if updated correctly with fuxing all the current issues.

Second, you have a big community of players that enjoy 3rd person shooters. One group of us are from the old tactical shooter game SOCOM made as the Sony Exclusive game. We had a skilled based tactical, stealth, one life shooter PVP "similar to breakpoint pvp skilled pvp" gameplay. There were several objectives like elimination, breach, bomb plant, escort, extraction, and an exclusive large map objective based convoy extraction. We had searcheable lobbies, custom lobbies with 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, 8v8 and 16v16 and it all depended on the mission objective that would require how many players per game.

These types of objective gameplay mentioned above kept players interested on the games and future franchises for many years.

The current 4v4 is good and can remain but having test servers for a hardcore mode i.e 8v8 or more players with one life only would be good as well. Items such as drones may be limited or not allowed on a hard core mode.

One more thing, we had a system called clan battles within the SOCOM game. A clan leader or officer could request to battle another clan on an 8v8, or 16v16 on a specific date, time and will choose one map of choice. If accepted by the challenged clan, they too will choose one map of choice and a default 3rd map will be choosen by the server. All team members of both clans will receive a notification and would have a scheduled time, date and maps to play. There was a minimum limit of how many clan members were to be present for the battle, if one of the two clans did not meet the minimum requirements the team with more members on the lobby would win by default.

Sony would also schedule tournaments and would invite the top clans to tournaments.

First, they need to fix the game.
With such limited player base, it will take ages to find a match. Right now it takes up to 3 minutes to find a match (PC). Adding aditional games modes will extend the search duration.
Based on breakpoint tracker there are 170 k pvp players on ps4, 138k on xbox and 62k on pc. This include players with only 1 pvp match.
Adding aditional modes like 1v1, 2v2 ect... forces to add aditional smaler / bigger maps to the map pool.
They should use all the resources to fix the game first, because sometimes it feels like it is still in beta phase.
