Must have been amazing seeing some of them fly.

I"ll be posting my pics soon. My camera doesn't have near as good a Zoom, but hey, I loved to see the PBY and Yak-9!

I think the absolute best part was seeing the Russian Re-enactors. I love the mosins, the mosin carbine, the PPD-40, PPSH-41, other Submachine guns they had there. Someone even brought a can of spam! Seeing Gottfried again was cool too. I also liked the new addition of all the sales and marketing places this year. I bought a 20mm round from the DelVal CAF and plan to join them if I can. THey're rebuilding an Fi-156, and you know I love the Fi-156.

I have, by far the worst airshow burn ever.

I have to win hands down.

06-05-2005, 05:32 PM
PBY!!!! Did you get any better shots of it? Thats so cool they had one there. Were was this show?

06-05-2005, 05:39 PM
Reading, PA.

I'm not even sure if it was scheduled to come in. There were a few unannounced arrivals. All of a sudden we just see a PBY coming in. A Sea Fury made an appearance too.

Sorry I missed you guys..... We'll have to set up a time and place to meet for next year.

I WAS at the Main Gate but must have been off for lunch. I was working with Security checking your bags. AND, I had some nice cold Labbatt's Blue to share with yas.

I was looking for old man with white beard http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

06-06-2005, 04:01 PM
LMAO @ both of you.

Hunter just wandered around aimlessly mumbling about beer. I think he was in withdrawl. I wonder what he would have been like if he actually listened to the no smoking announcements.

06-06-2005, 05:49 PM
I saw no signs ......

06-06-2005, 08:25 PM
We looked all over for you, GT182. Hunter said you were the 50 year old with the grey beard. We had a good laff on that cause there was only about 3000 of ya running around LOL.

06-06-2005, 08:51 PM
Yeah well Wayno wore a tshirt that subtly said on the back of it "IL2+FB+AEP+PF Fanatic. Check your six"

That's how I found em.

We figured if you didn't spot that then we'd never find you.

06-06-2005, 09:15 PM
Hey Owlsphone, on the sunburn front, you should see my oldest, Cody. He's giving Rudolph a run for his money.LOL!!!

06-07-2005, 02:35 PM
I guess i am a loser in sunburn competition http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

06-07-2005, 02:49 PM
you get strangest tan line awards....he's got a line across his forehead from his hat lol

06-07-2005, 03:02 PM
And i caught alot of **** over that at work hehe

06-07-2005, 04:39 PM
My nose blistered and skin came off after one day. My eyes are white for some reason like I wore sunglasses...which I didn't lol.

I am teh win.

06-07-2005, 08:44 PM
I'll bet the sunburn factor was much higher on Sunday.LOL

06-07-2005, 09:12 PM
Great shots Ivan. The B25 Yankee Warrior is the one I flew in last year. I wanted to go, but 500 miles is a bit far for a weekender... And then you would have had another 50+ year old with a gray beard running around....
