View Full Version : Non-Lethal vs Lethal Weapons

Hi everyone,

From what I recall, I heard that you could play the game non-lethally like Deus Ex for example. Would there be a large selection of non-lethal weapons compared to lethal ones?

What I understand it will be 50% lethal and 50% nonlethal.

Nice! Would love to try both styles of gameplay.

As 'enemies' are potentially recruitable (and others may be angered if they are killed) I'll be taking them out non-lethally wherever possible.

I plan to scan first and if they don't have traits I find desirable, its the lethal option! ;)

Yeah, I will definitely experiment with both styles and find those perfect characters to leave alive for recruitment. I wonder what non-lethal we'll have. Maybe tasers, stun rods, chokehold, tranquilizer guns etc.

Well, we know definitely tasers are in, and I'm hoping that the game doesn't register melee knockouts as deaths and that the victims actually wake up, because in the first two games it seemed like melee knockdowns count as deaths.

Yeah, I hope it's like Hitman where melee is non-lethal unless you choose to kill with melee.

Watch Dogs 1 was definitely non lethal but 2 seems like somebody screwed up, I watched a video about how Marcus does takedowns with that 8-ball and the model they used the 8-ball on may have been a bit soft but in the end left a reasonable conclusion that it can definitely be lethal. Legions (or 3... maybe) melees should be non-lethal this time around.
