This is like a Saturday Night Live or "Who's On First" skit, but it's real life, and should have you in tears towards the end.

This is absolutely hilarious, but it's not "real life". These guys are Clarke and Dawe and they are a comedy team. They are a weekly feature on the The 7.30 Report on Australian TV.

Definitely sounds like something from Abbot & Costello. Very funny.

There's nothing out there, just birds, fish, 20,000 tons of crude, and, of course, the rest of the ship!

Tee-hee. Tee-hee-hee. Wheeeeeeee. Whoop. Chortle.
Aaaand relax.
Aussies do the dry thing sooooo well.
Those two remind me very much of Bird and Fortune, who really came to prominence with Rory Bremner. The interviewee was always called (usually Sir -) George Parr, if I remember right. Quite possibly not, as it happens as my meds have run out.
Yee-hee-hee-hee-t. Great post.
