Ok, There we were thursday, fighting BG and his fellow imperial minions as they attempted to take over the world. Though they totally clobbered us heroes of the free world in our FM-2s, Red still won, because, apparently, the entire air wing of the Kaga was so shook up from our fierce determination that they forgot how to make CV landings (which i seem to do alot myself).

Here he's making his approach, a rather good one if I say so myself.

After making a great landing, the overly short tail hook of the Zeke (I understand some Canandians have alot of problems with that kinda thing heh heh)failed to trap a wire, he cartwheeled against the island and bounced forever down the deck, winding up balanced on the bow.

I kept expecting him to get out and yell "I'm king of the world!". I bet they made quite an impression when they sailed into Tokyo bay like this. You will note that the rest of his squadron was also unerved by their encounter with my buds and me, as their planes are now suitable only for spare parts.

A wise couple of men once said, "they can teach monkeys to fly better than that". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

You should be careful what you say here. I understand that until you let the cat out of the bag, (another euphemism?), this was a closely guarded Canadian State Secret. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Whats that about Canadians? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hilarious pictures guys...carrier landings are always a hoot. I find myself always coming in too hot to make the approach properly.

Actually Im just getting even for them waxing our posteriors in truly efficient fashion. It was so.....pro. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Those screens of the tail being torn off the zeke by the cable are hilarious. I had no idea that the damage model was capable of that. We find new stuff in this all the time. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

That shot of the A5M is amazing. Just goes to show the realism of this thing.

I didnt mean to compromise Canada's national security that way. To thier credit, they are rather plain spoken. In 84 I went to an airshow at Dobbins AFB (I worked next door at Lockheed) and low and behold, a Canadian F-101 Voodoo was there....with 2 red stars on the side (I asked the RIO and he said it was for Bear intercepts, since they didn't have any "weapons that can shoot one down" for the ancient VooDoos).

When I asked him his opinion of his well maintained and immaculate aircraft, Lt. LeBlanc (French Canadian in a neat black flight suit) said "eet eees a peeece of sheeet". His pilot (in a neat looking tan flt suit) then accused him of compromising Canadian state secrecy (and rolled his eyes like BG did). Canadians apparently like to do that, and they do it so well. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Careful Enforcer, or you'll end up as filler in one of BG's ponds
