What is this? I see it is about to release shortly from Ubisoft. Is it a sim or an arcade?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

First Eagles is a WWI sim from Thirdwire (who did Strike Fighters and Wings Over Europe) developed by TK (of European Air War fame). The series is generally considered a "lite" sim (believable physics and decent flight modeling, but simplfied modeling of aircraft systems and radar), but with a pretty good dynamic (or at least semi-dynamic) campaign engine, very similar to EAW's. I somewhat suspect that the "litenss" of the series will not be quite as apparant in the WWI sim, as these planes did not have many complex weapons or flight control systems to model to begin with.

i would not expect to much from this game.................

for further info , you can read the forum http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=11&sid=a...a8974a51b36e01814dc5 (http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=11&sid=af1e106fb07ba8974a51b36e01814dc5)

3 planes to fly, Spad XIII, Fokker D.VII, SE5a - thats so far ok for a 1918 game, but only 3 AI planes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif more ................
but it has the same very open structur as the StrikeFighter games , so it depends on the 3.party community to bring in more stuff than.

and i doubt UBI is the publisher !
