View Full Version : Anybody notice the B-239 is quite flammable?

I flew it the other day, and instead of getting a wing shot off like yesteryear (1.11) the plane would explode in mid-air every time.

If it's realistic, awesome! If not, can the issue be addressed?

I believe the B-239 lacked self-sealing tanks. They were added on the later US Navy version, which added to its weight (and poor performance).

Harry, I heard that different versions were heavier because of Naval requirements.

Even with non self-sealing tanks, to me they still explode a little too easily.

Might just be me though...
