That VKT is astounding.
The local Army surplus store has one on display(on skis).
It is absolutely HUGE.
Back when I was in high school, i went to a "Full Auto Fest" in Bullitt county KY.
It was there. It shook the ground every time it fired. Far more impressive than the 20mm Vulcan OR the M3 tank main gun.

The modeller has done a fantastic job on that piece of hardware.

Do you know there's talk about banning air guns in the UK?

If you were seen in public with anything resembling an anti tank gun your feet wouldn't touch the floor! Police helicoptors, cars, film crews, the army would all descend on you like a ton of bricks! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

It just amazes me how casual you Americans sound talking about some serious military hardware you saw down the local fair http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

US planes? I thought that this was a Baltic sea/Gulf of Finland only? Well, I'm not complaining. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

Shame that it won't be possible to link this together with FB/PF even though the AC models are
made by Oleg & Co. A sim level digital battlefield type thing like that could be nice. (Understating, who? Me? Nahh... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif )

Thanks, here's more in Finnish thought with interesting pictures. It says L-39 was used to shot down IL-2s from kilometers away, the L-39 was accurate with scope up to 2000 meters.

If KV-1 was driving with hatch open, L-39 could be used to shoot at the hatch with phosphore ammos and that way destroy a almost impossible target.

If I get a chance today I'll use one of the web's translation sites and translate it into English.
