View Full Version : possible bug with bullet impact location

Last night I crashed landed on a carrier and came to rest at the edge of the deck. Since I had not fired a shot, for the heck of it, I just started firing in the sea.

I was situated left wing down on deck, right wing up, at ~10 o'clock orientation with respect to carrier forward motion.

So left gun hit the deck, no issues. The right gun impact point was somehere in the front of the ship. The ship was moving.

Now, from external view, I noticed that as I fired, the impact point went from left of the center to the right.

I guess I need to try it again with unlimited ammo and see how far it will go. Will it go off screen right?

The only thing is I need to find a way so that I land on the edge again. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

If the carrier was turning, that could throw off the impact location. Also, if you didn't have brakes/chocks in, the recoil from firing would "walk" your plane backwards and possible sideways due to ship motion too.

Just thoughts. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
