All true, but, since color is the most subjective of things, when impacted by light, weathering, and distance, no two human beings are likely ever to be happy with the same color intrepretations. What we have in flight sims is some rather complex artists' work which we can either admire or disparage, fiddle with value and chroma ourselves on our set-ups, or design skins and maps ourselves. For the most part, I think Oleg and his merry men have done a mind-bogglingly good job. I used to love the faint touches of oxidation on the LaGG-3 models in the sim's early days. The sky is now quite beautiful.
