Is the internet on it slow at all or is it all the same?

12-25-2007, 01:58 AM
Suprisingly its very fast for me. It runs über circles around the Psp's browser. I find it almost as easy as a comp once you get the hang of it.

Oh yah, it plays music too. Lol

12-25-2007, 02:01 AM
OMG it has everything lol! I ask because the PS3's browser is slow as hell! So you think I should get one?

12-25-2007, 02:06 AM
depends on how much music you have. I only have 1 gb and some vids so I got the 8 gb, and couldn't love it more. The wifi is great too.

12-25-2007, 02:07 AM
The wifi would be the main reason I want it though!

12-25-2007, 02:12 AM
one problem Is it doesn't have flash. Not run into a problem yet though. Youtube app is Amazing too

12-25-2007, 02:17 AM

Same here http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Only I couldn't get it to work with iTunes so I attempted a MS repair but it formatted both of my HDDs and deleted everything on my PC X_x

John, you can't on an iBook without using Virtual PC which runs apps at a 100th of the host processor http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

but I don't want to boot another system http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

12-25-2007, 06:11 AM
Well Kanuch, you're screwed then. I'm assuming that you've got an Intel Mac, and if so you can play Windows games. But your screwiness comes from the fact that you need to install windows. Basically bootcamp partitions your harddrive so half of it will be leopard and the other half will be XP/Vista. That's the only way it can be done unfortunately. You COULD try running virtual PC, which is a Windows Emulator. It would mean you wouldn't have to necesarily need to boot a new system, but it will lag and may not even play the games <_<

AirRon, Ex-Mac User, quit once he found out he liked to play PC games.

12-25-2007, 06:35 AM
He did say that it's an iBook which are PPCs so there's no chance of boot camp. See my previous reply

12-25-2007, 07:46 AM
And as for emulation, the problem with running a virtual pc on any OS, is that it only emulates a graphics card, the host OS can't share the real graphics card.
So that rules out most modern games. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
