hi,
i remember reading about dive bombing in the Stuka it said something about some aspect of the bombing being automated, is this true and how do i set it up in FB\AEP
any good FB sits detailing this?

The Stuka had a big weight in it that automatically moved forward when the dive brakes were on and moved back when they were taken off.

Also a low altitude warning alarm that sounds once the plane dives below a certain alt to let the pilot know he is going to hit the ground on pullout.

Those are your automated features, enjoy.........

In FB/AEP when you release the bomb the automatic pullout feature engages.
I've never tried not releasing the bomb though..... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Be sure to set bombdrop alt to 0 else it will be automaticaly dropped at this setup alt.

It's quite automated in the game, it
starts (I think) when you go into dive,
and releases the bomb at predefined
altitude. The default is 600m, by the way.
You can alter this via "bomb sight altitude"
keys, but avoid settings below 300m.
Reason being blast radius and you also
need a bit altitude to pull yourself
back to horizontal. Remember to use the
dive brakes, as that activates the
whistles...
