Worst comes to worst you can always settle for an MG3. I'm sure those are easy to get. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Here's one site that had a couple of those. http://www.autoweapons.com/products/products.html

Do you even have the proper paperwork for any of these? Class III/FFL?

This is being said not knowing where you live (US or otherwise) nor if you even wanted automatic versions of these.

No, I would have them sent to a local shop. It is legal to own fully automatic versions of these in Florida. I've seen other people shooting these at the range.

Unless things have changes since I was in school in FLorida and worked with Tampa's TRT (90-91).

While it is legal to own the fully auto weapon. you are still required to have a Class III (Federal Firearms License for any fully auto weapon)that you will need to apply for (Not everyone who applies will get one)and pay for. Things could have changed.... but I am pretty sure it is a federal license not just a state thing.

In Florida you don't need any of the BATF permits to buy guns from local gun shops. If i wanted to have the gun delivered directly to my home from a store in another state, then I would need the Class III Permit. I can bypass all of this by having the gun delivered to a local gun store.

I know... You can buy any gun at any store. Florida is where I bought both my Sigs.

Still pretty sure yo uneed the class III (Not for shipping to your home,) But for ownership of a fully auto weapon.

If I am wrong.. I am wrong, but I am pretty sure it is still the case.

**Added: I think there is still a one time tax stamp of $200 also, but that might have changed. But it is not a lot compared to the cost of the weapons most the time anyway

** Also I know with the recent cease of the asault weapons ban things might have changed. I think before the ban the local sherrif could have signed off on it. when my net clears up I will be able to look into it more closely.

I definitely remember reading about people getting their class III's signed by a local sheriff. Of course the willingness of them to do so depends on who you are, where you live and reason (if they really care).
