Hi Developer and player!

here, i want to suggest a new kind of faction if you agree, a faction that come from south east asia , you know, a kind of tough warrior with less armor(but strong), cool cape, cool spear, a cool topless chest, cool gold bracelet, etc.

because i think player need more faction that comes from the unknown world, from the far world that have so many contrast with all previous faction, and that, i suggest you
this majaphit kingdom as an example of it, a kingdom many people have'nt heard yet, a kingdom that stand in the far east for a thousand year...and i think this one could be great!

here i have some examples of majapahit, sriwijaya, pajajaran and other southeast asia kingdom

Game has already 2 Asian factions. A 3rd faction would be just too much IMO. Actually, I would stop any new factions/heroes releases until the game gets in a proper balanced state. But hey, we know how ubi works so, if new factions are to be added, I vote for either African or aztec/mayan.

Appreciate the faction suggestion!

Do you have any images showing the sort of warrior you're talking about, or any ideas for their moveset? It would probably help the community discuss your proposal in a bit more detail. :)

Factions are a complete illusion anyways. Every hero could be shuffled into other factions and it wouldn't matter one bit

Great idea! Honestly Iíd rather see something come back thatís more western as Asia already has two factions. Maybe Spaniards with cutlasses and such or even native America would be cool.

Edit: I got thrown into a match while typing so I needed to clean up the spelling. Also, most of the community has been asking for pirates since the early seasons so that could be a good addition

Romans and greeks are still with the knight faction :L

Maybe they should clear that up first.

I think Romans should have never infiltrated the ranks of the knights.

Honestly the best way to mess with factions IMO would be to move Centurion and Gladiator to a Greece-roman empire faction (could get Spartans, Lithuanians, a Trojan warrior, could even implement some middle eastern hassassins or Persians but that would be kinda a stretch)
And then re-flesh out the knights with a frank spearfighter assassin or mace + axe weilding assassin, and then a knight using a greatsword (yes there is historical precedent tho uncommon) to replace cent.

Unfortunately fragmenting the two Romans into a split off faction is unlikely,

Thus if a new faction had to be implemented I would hope it would be Aztec/Mayan, or Egyptian+African. These would be the best diversifying choices both style wise, weapon selection wise, and game-play wise. Although many tribal african or aztec weapons wouldn't put up a realistic fight, the game lost legitimacy for realism the moment law-daddy wasn't a god in plate sooo I personally would have no problems with outdated weaponry.

That being said I would love to see an Indian/Vietnamese/SEasia based hero, and a Hun/mongol based hero in the Wu-Lin.

hitokiri shouldn't have gotten that freaking non-historical axe, executions were done with the katana in assisted suicide by Kaishakunin. We should have gotten a shield hero since we don't have one and shields did get used in pre tokugawa period japan.
in short. Samurai should have gotten a shield and katana/spear hero, Knights should have gotten the war axe or a long polearm weapon (both of which they definitely used) and Vikings should have gotten the Hammer. (however note that although thor wielded mjolnir there is not actually significant archaeological evidence the vikings routinely used war hammers.)
*also note I wouldnt want the black priors moveset on the Japanese shield fighter, this isn't black prior envy or anything it's just me thinking about how it should have gone down IMO*
