Wow, interesting. Can anyone translate what he's saying about the Ta-152 at the end of part one?

It's a mini series called "The Cockpit".

The pilot is called Rheindars (lol the Japanese and their pseudo-foreign names).

The story of this episode is that the German ace Rheindars is allowed to fly one of only a few prototype Ta-152 on a mission to drop the first German atomic bomb from a captured B-17.

Rheindars and the girl had a relationship in the past and she tells Rheindars about the secret cargo onboard the B-17. They agree that their mission may never succeed and at the end the girl and her father (the scientist behind the bomb) sacrifice themselves to save the world.

The other episodes are also worth a look.

Many people like to bad-mouth Japanese anime movies but at least they make movies about this subject.
