Opinions please

As far as value for money goes & gaming value & addons ect,ect ect. What is the better purchase PF or BOE. I really enjoy 1944 Western front action. The reason I am now considering PF is it is only 10.00 dollars more than BOE (79.95 PF vs 69.95 BOE )& the fact that I have used DCG for AEP & enjoyed it. Is BOE superior to DCG? or is BOE a waste of money

Eh, what's BOE?

And PF 79,95 dollars? What kinda dollars are that! I purchased it from amazon Uk for about 24 euro's, including shipping to Holland!

I just bought a copy for my friend for seven United States dollars, new, from Amazon. Don't pay eighty dollars for this game!

Yes Amazon.com is even cheaper, but they don't ship (this) games to Europe.

Battle over Europe is a very good expansion and well worthwhile if you play exclusivly offline and want additional campaigns. Starshoy who helped develop this still has support for it including updated dgen files.

However without Pacific fighters you will not get benifits of new flight models or other latest updates so I think that you will lose out without this. The stock campaigns arnt that interesting in PF but the additional planes and flight model improvements make up for it.

I would recommend that you pick up PF and patch it up fully then you could try some of the community campaigns until you save up for BOE or even The Last Days

It's now nine Euros, or whatever the monetary unit is, new on Amazon.uk. Get it from there.

PF is a MUST purchase. BOE is a great OPTIONAL purchase.

Still quite expensive, I spotted it this weekend at a toy store in Amsterdam for "10,=. I believe it was Bart Smit. Also loads of Lomac's avaiable, "7,50 IIRC...
That's where I bought my Lomac http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

BOE is the Battle over Europe expansion for FB & the prices gents are in Aussie dollars ( Where kangaroos hop around & psycotic kooalas take out tourists)

It may seem like BOE will give you more of what you like the best, i.e. western front, but PF and the patches give this sim a whole new feel. BOE is a set of campaigns and missions that are just okay in my opinion and which have been outclassed by other expansions and in some ways free user made mission/campaigns.

Dasriech, with PF you get new planes, new ships, new maps, and new campaigns. And you can use all the great free campaigns that require the merge of FB and PF.

With BOE, you get campaigns, a new map, and skins. No new planes!

I like 'em both. I own 'em both. Maybe you should get both? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I see campaignes are your thing but with pf you open up the whole online experience, including online campaignes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Without a doubt... get PF and merge the sims.. I am assuming that you have The Aces Expansion pack already.... If you do not the nGet that and PF.. and merge them.
