Hi All;

I'm trying to find a "digitally scanned" online image of a "in Japanese and from 1942-1944" New Guinea/New Britain map I can download. Obviously the higher the resolution the better. Any help would be appreciated, the following map area the most important though more better.

Try this.

Hopefully you're not easily offended.....

Oh, you may need/want to print several of the individuals and paste/tape them together to get the area you are interested in.

Thanks for the link yet that's not exactly what I'm looking for, a nice website never the less http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Why would I be offended?

Referring to anything MS/CFS2 seems to easily offend some of the folks on this particular forum.

Sorry the maps weren't what you were looking for.

Here's a good site for maps. But probably not what you are looking for.

"In Japanese", huh? That's a tough one.

Found these, one in Japanese, one in English.

Thanks SkyChimp yet still not quite what I'm looking for......

To be more specific, I'm looking for high quality maps with good detail (not just hand sketches)....In Japanese, from that era of 1942-1944......IOW, a map much like an IJA planner might have, topographical a plus yet in Japanese so the names upon it can be seen.
