I don't think it has been done yet. I couldn't find it anyway.

Bf-109G2 W Number 13565) Black <2 Stab II/JG 52 Eastern front September 1942.

In the late Summer of 1942, this aircraft was flown by several pilots, among them Uffz. Hans Waldmann, who flew as Gruppenkommandeur Hptm. Johannes Steinhoff's "Katschmarek." This aircraft is shown here following its fortunate return from a combat mission on September 18, 1942, when the aircraft was hit in the rudder by anti-aircraft fire over the Caucasus. The aircraft's original finish consisted of the Gray tones usual at the time, but fuselage sides ni the area of the tactical markings were oversprayed at a later date. The spotted finish on the upper engine cowling is also noteworthy - such schemes were occasionally seen on aircraft of II/JG 52 at this time. Hans Waldeman was killed in a flying accident on March 18, 1945. He scored a total of 134 victories, ten of them on the Western Front. He was awarded the Ritterkreuz on February 5, 1944.

Edit: By the by if anyone is interested I think this is supposed to be the plane...

Captain Farrell did a skin of this G-2, but it's no longer up on his web site. I still have it, though.

It's a nice skin, but not up to the standard of his more recent efforts, which are outstanding.

PM me if you want it.

Thanks Ratsack

Think I found the Farrel one on a cd I burned a few years ago.

I think that this one must be the Farrel one.

And here is the other one.

Just updated ... I had an older version (you can find it @ Flying Legends as part of "Aces over Stalingrad").

Woo hoo Thor! I think she's a winner.

The cowling mottling doesn't do the plane justice, imo.
