Hi there - As requested I have scanned in some AR sheets from Aircraft Recognition journal

There are several types of Silhouettes in the journal - however I have scanned these types from the September 44 issue as mainly it was the easiest to scan - being all in the same place (I simply don't have the time to find each individual plane and scan it in separately)

Due to the fact IL2 is an eastern front sim and the journals are English I found it is too much of a task for me to find individual silhouettes of every sub type of each plane - therefore these scans are of the main 'operational' types of each plane. - There is also a number of planes which are not found in the sim (yet /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif - especially on the first 2 pages - feel free to cut out the relevant ones) and also quite a few types missing - I may find , scan and post some of the missing planes in the future.

The scans do however contain the majority of planes found in IL2/FB

I have optimised the scans as much as possible with minimum degradation to quality but left the scans at the original resolution so whoever DL 's them has a bit more scope to mess around with them in Photoshop etc before printing.

Each sheet is around 200K

Hope these are of use and the print quality is OK

If there is anything else (other scans (of particular planes that are missing etc..) or different presentations of same scans - if u do not own a Photoshop type application - or print quality is screwed - pm me or respond in this thread)

No problem !! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

also

please note being from a wartime journal some of the silouhettes (god i hate trying to spell that word !!) may contain slight inaccuracies - particularly russian and german ones (unfortunately) that may have just come into service around september 1944 - however these inaccuracies will only be slight -and prpobably not enough to interfere with overall recognition /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
