View Full Version : Overall...*Spoiler*

Just finished the game (took a deathly 22 hours) and I'm still thinking about it.
My main question is...when the f**k is A.C.2 coming out? 'Cause after the end, I can't wait. (Though the question should be "When are they going to tell us when the new game will be out?")

Yeah, this is kinda topicless, it's just to talk about everything in the game.

I'm pretty sure that Des and Altair are the main characters (again) in the next game. Read it somewhere. (Just to clarify for the people who think it might be someone else.) Because we can't access Subject 16's memories because Subject 16 is dead. And as far as I can tell, the memories cannot be saved on file, so we can't review them.
And for the next two games, I think one will take place in Japan and the other in South America/Mexico.
The ending of the game kinda creeped me out though. I mean, #16 went all insane and killed himself to give a message to #17 in his blood. It's creepy if you think about it, almost like one of those god-awful horror films about people being tested on in mental hospitals (which is almost exactly this.)
I'm just wondering one thing. How did subject 16 know the locations of twoartifacts, when his ancestor could only know of one? Unless his ancestor knew of two? Or maybe he read some computer files or something?
I dunno, it's kinda weird...and I type alot http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There's a thread already been started about the sequel. Severall in fact. Just wait a little while. We're getting some official news on the twenty-eighth

28th? Awesome. I'll be sure to definately check back then.
But I doubt they'll really answer too much (that'd take away from the game) so the topic is still good for discussion until the game release.
I'm just most curious about subject 16 and his extensive knowledge (as far as the posts I've seen, none of them have pointed this out.) It seems kinda odd to me...

You haven't been looking hard enough. Or have just been too lazy to read through the bajillions of posts to get to the good stuff. Head over to the Assassin's Creed 2 thread, there's a lot of talk about it there. Just remember, it's not Japanese

people being tested on in mental hospitals isn't just in science fiction. that's actually happened. in America. probably other places too but that's all i know for sure. it was in an episode of Ghost Hunters, they went to an abandoned hospital where that kind of thing was actually done.

A sad, and disturbing, but very true tid bit. Some of the things that "Doctors" used to do were just...inhuman. In Britian it was believed that sawing the top of someone's skull off and allowing birds to eat the brains would cure insanity. It's the origin of the term "off his head". Two hundred years ago that was an actual, no bullfrell, medical diagnosis

i love AC, i completed it a couple of months ago and i just replay the game. I really hope AC2 is as good as the first one. also (iv said it loads of times) i hope we still get to play as Altair, it really wouldnt be the same, i dont want to play as a different ancestor.

Anywho, ontopic: Selur_Rialta, check out this article (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=175552). It's a very thorough analysis of the ending. This (http://www.geocities.com/zekarmisama/chinese.html) webpage gives a translation of the chinese symbols on the wall behind Desmond's bed.

Dude : They said bullfrell in the show, so that's what I say. And I think it's pretty much confirmed that Alta´r is the protagonist again

My apologies.

Oh, don't worry, I agree that bulldren makes more sense. In so far as the aliens are referring to a creature that doesn't exist to them

I looked at the link explaining the ending last night. (Then today me and my friend started debating about the ending, but I won http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

And I'm pretty sure Altair is the main character again. I'm not sure how, because it seems that access to the Animus with be denied (if they escape or something) unless the Assassins have their own.

Well, to the current game...
I'm not sure if it's been asked or not, but when you leave Masyaf there's a group of Assassins that are spread out abit. If you use your eagle vision, all but one are blue. The other one is red. Why's that? I'm wondering if it's a glitch or what...?

we found it already, and nobody really knows
