I am currently replaying AC2 and at one point I had to think to myself did this actually happen could these pieces be real. 0bviously I know they aren't but did anyone else ever think this? The creators did such a great job with this game I can't believe it.

I dont know maybe I am subject 16's brother and I am losing my mind. Who knows.

as a physical object ... no
but a meta object maybe

example. piece of eden - the apple...
current theories are that the fruit of knowledge was a pomegranate not an apple. in the Hebrew faith there are 613 religious laws and these are represented by the pomegranate... each law being represented by a seed... one could extrapolate that the fruit of knowledge was these laws.

I bealive that definitely there is a truth in this game.

For example I bealive that is possible that aliens (Those who came before) have created the human race.....very possible.
There are alot of things which guides on It.

Then also I bealive in theory of conspiracy that secret societies and organisations control this world since the old Babylon.
Templars, masons, illuminats, vatican, opus dei, comititee 300, bilderberg group (modern version of templars).....they are all just the parts of one big and powerful organisation and maybe they were changing the names but they purpose is still the same.

So i bealive that some things in the game are definitely the real it's not everything just the fiction but I don't bealive that stuffs like pieces of Eden, glyphs.....etc really exists

nope, never. But the story is indeed great, you are right witht that and i like it. I like the pice of eden and the story the dev created, but it is a game, as you know. I forgot it maybe when playing the game. But i come back to reality, when i close the game and come back to windows desktop.

Game; Pice of Eden - Story- Historic elemts used for the AC universe
and
Relaitiy; History - Insignias - New stuff to discover in world history

I like both http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifbut never take AC fiction as real.

OMG no way! Me too! Assassins Creed is so real, pieces of eden scattered round the world that can control people! ive spent the last 3 years looking for one of em and im uber close to it! Mabye if i dress in a white hood and assassinate a modern templar (hope hes not black cuz that will get the wrong picture for people) and i will know where the piece is!

Don't worry: more chance of finding a PoE than a Templar around nowadays. St. Johns' Ambulancemen had better warch out though...

Not necessarily.

There could still be some Templar believer/s or somehting somewhere in Europe or something (Most likely France). Kind of like the Nazi's...

You have to be kidding if you think you have a better chance of finding something as Fictional as Star Wars than something that is actually real and historic!

May the Father of Understanding Guide You because you would be seriously messed up to think these are real. no offence. but the templars are out there, make no mistake. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

We, too, are only kidding, mate, though this thread could be case in point about how badly Net communications can convey irony / humour.

BTW, no, I really do think there's about as much chance of finding a totally imaginary Star Wars-type object than a Templar nowadays.

The Order was officially dissolved nearly 700 years ago. Maybe there's the odd poseur who thinks they're one, just like those that supposedly join the Rosicrucians in response to small ads in the back of supermarket tabloids, but they lack historical continuity with the original order.

Well, if we DO find one, we have a whole forum full of potential Assassins to save the world http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif .

If anyone bothered to read what was on the screen when AC2 was loading up they would have read that everything in the game is FICTION, meaning NOT REAL.

It's a game. If you can't distinguish a game from real life than you are playing games too much and need a break.

Anywayyyyy, i think this thread has been answered many times and should be closed.

Final Verdict: http://static.open.salon.com/files/tomato1260299541.jpg

Real Final Verdict: No, there are absolutely no "Pieces of Eden". At all. Nope. Don't even try.
