I don't think of it as perverse, but I do ask, why?

That's just weird.

Bottle of whisky in a stuffed beaver anyone?

55% alcohol in beer? Meh I can't imagine that being any good.

Brew dog is punk beer, apparrently. They brewed a low content ale called Nanny State after being cited by an MP for contributing to anti-social behaviour with a high content ale (that happened to cost more than a bottle of scotch).

Still, ale in bunnies and stuff, that's a little demented.

Seeing this reminds me of my cousin's horrible taxidermy jobs back when we were kids. It was always work not to laugh at them and keep a straight face. His dad's taxidermy work was first rate though. Another thing my cousin's dad would do is make an open mold from a dead cottonmouth or copperhead, etc, and then when the resin was semi-set up, he'd coil them up like they were ready to strike. He'd also paint them up like the real thing too, and from five-ten feet away you'd be hard put to tell the difference. I used to have a cottonmouth one that was the mainstay of my 'show and tell' collection in grade school, and always generated a lot of ooh's, ahh's and wow!'s, and the teacher would make me put it away because it was too much of a distraction. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

About the beer, I'm surprised that they didn't make a version of it where the 'sleeves' were inverted. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Ummmmmmmmmmmm. the way some beer tastes why not use the other end of the animal instead of the mouth?

I mean. The bottle cozies are already tasteless and perverse as it is..... why not go all nine yards?

Is the beer so bad that they must use this sort of extreme gimmick to get noticed...? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

This brewery is quite clever at getting free publicity. They made seven bottles of beer and got national coverage from the BBC.

I've tried their Punk IPA, it wasn't very good.
