Hi Ubisoft,

I am very critical when it comes to games and storytelling. Most games these days don't
take their time for a good story which I find very :nonchalance:

So a couple months ago I felt like playing all of the Assassin's Creed games once again, this time in order. Except of a few minor annoyances
it was a great experience with a great finale of the Ezio saga. Then it was time to play AC3 but the remaster had not been released yet.
So I went on with Black Flag. It was a great decision because Black Flag end's where the 3rd part begins: In the opera.
So this was a mostly epic experience already. Black Flag had just gotten it's PhysX fix after nearly 2 years or so, so ship explosions where a blast.

The Assassin's Creed 3 - Remaster looked very promising however the "ugly face" issue was threatening to destroy the experience.
I don't know if you guys fixed things within the first week or if it was because I set 'ShadowQuality=2' in the 'Assassin3Remaster.ini' but after that the faces were pretty much
perfect at all times.
When I had played AC3 for the first time I did not >>really<< like it. It was good but not amazing. For me it had a lot to do with the armor Connor was wearing.
It looked out of place most of the time and wanted to play a native american so much. Luckily this is different now since you automatically get the Animal Spirit Armor at the right time. Thank you!!! This changed everything. All of the sudden Connor was not the little child anymore playing Assassin. He looked bad ***.
So it was a completely new experience for me. The graphics upgrade is very well made. Great work! The game desperately needed a Remaster just like this.

When playing those games again I also became aware how focused these games where on great story telling.
Especially AC3 took a leap by starting with Haytham and showing Connors childhood. I loved it!
As I said, games often don't take their time telling a story these days. I missed this a little bit in Origins and Odyssey. As if they are made for an impatient audience.
I don't thing AC players are impatient. Maybe you could go back to a more complex story in the next game.

Anyway, thank you for the Remaster, I hope the developers receive this message after the whole lot of backlash that I have seen on forums.

Could you post some screen caps of cutscenes after you applied the change in shadow quality? Iím curious how much more improved it looks.

Here you go. The worst lighting I can think of is on the ship at the very beginning of the game. However I could have sworn it was much worse than in the pictures below when I started playing the game. After the ship scene I changed the ini setting but I don't really think it had anything to do with it. Maybe it got fixed?
Anyway, these are some examples of how the faces are getting displayed in cutscenes. This kind of quality was in the entire game. I don't think there is much wrong with it.

Thanks. I think there is a bit of improvement but its still far from how good the original game looked in comparison.
