I think completely scraping the dialogue system is a horrible idea. Many of my friends I play with and I were really excited for it and don't understand why you guys want to remove it. Generally most people I encounter wanted it but just didn't like how you did it, so please, for the love of the For Honor gods, put it in place with the problem charactr's voices fixed.

And if you're nervous about them being too laughable or unfitting just add the option to go to the current lines or disable them all together.

It's about resources. The team is getting smaller and smaller as we speak. How much time (money) will have to be put into it? What will the benefit be financially? They sat down and decided it wasn't worth it.

One thing I do hope they change though is the fact that you don't hear the emote voice lines yourself, only your opponent does. This was not the fact on the public test and it was great. Instead if hearing "Uh" "Mhh" "Ooh", when you emoted you heard what the hero actually said.

It makes the character come to life. It will sell more emotes.

For instance the Recognition emotes:
