View Full Version : Game is inactive

So..I bought the game on Steam and connected it to my ubisoft account. Today when I wanted to start playing, it showed me this window [removed] telling me to enter the activation key..
Now my question is, where do I find it? :D I already played quite a few hours and now my game is suddenly gone? O.o

Thanks for help, it's much appreciated!

Normally when a game needs a CD key activation it will show a "CD key" section on the list to the right of the game in your steam library, for me this isn't the case for trials rising.
Do you launch it via the uplay launcher or via steam? maybe steam gives uplay the activation key if you launch it that way.
Other than that i can't come up with any other possibilities. I couldn't find it after a quick check of the game directory either, it probably isn't in there.
If it continues giving problems, you just need to contact ubisoft or steam support (or both and just see who responds first). if you do that it might be a good idea to think about what triggered this to happen. (did you restart your pc, did you update anything, are you on a different network, did you make any hardware changes to your pc, just to name a few)

Hope this helps, good luck!

Unfortunately, there is no CD Key button on the right, I already checked that. And the game just vanished from my uplay account, it's just gone as if I never played it. I will contact the Steam support now, maybe they can give me the key..ubisoft is already contacted :D
I didn't make any changes, I came back from dinner and my game was gone :(
Still, thanks for trying to help :)

Hey Narafae, I removed your link as the image contained personal info.
I can't see the Steam account linked to your Ubisoft account I'm afraid, which may be causing the issue.
Are you able to follow these steps (https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Faqs/000017027/Ubisoft-Account-Linking-Unlinking#linksteam) to link your account at all?

If not, I'd recommend privately messaging our team on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/UbisoftSupport/) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/UbisoftSupport) for further assistance.
