Weapons, Mods and Gear:


Overhauled the Weapon mod system, see the table at the end of the patch notes for detailed information.
Fixed a wrong long-range damage value for M4 (super 90) and P416. Previously, they could sometimes increase damage over longer ranges instead of the other way around.
Rifles:

Damage on the MK17 rifle reduced by 14%, also corrected this weapon not having a damage falloff over distance.
LW M4 damage increased by 5%, RPM increased from 240 to 360.
LVOA-C RPM increased from 240 to 380.


Marksman Rifles

Model 700 damage reduced by 13%.


Shotguns

AA12 damage increased by 16%.


LMGs

MG5 damage increased by 12% and fixed reversed falloff, causing the weapon to do more damage over a longer range.


Updated initial accuracy on the Sig Sniper MCmillan T1. It should now be much more reliable to shoot as soon as it’s shouldered and the transition to scoped view is over.
Reduced the amount of Critical Damage and Headshot Damage that can roll on Gear, including the amount on existing Gear. The actual values will differ depending on the level and quality of the gear it occurs on. This is partially in preparation for another world tier, where we felt these values were already at the limit of what was healthy in WT4.
Complete overhaul of skill mods to give more achievable requirements and more reasonable bonuses.

A closer equivalence between required skill power and the bonuses granted.
Changed the amount of skill power on gear to not increase exponentially with level, but instead more linearly. This results in most skill power values on gear being lower, but in accordance with the lowered requirements.
Tweaked the ranges of bonuses to be within acceptable bounds where they had extreme values before due to scaling errors. Most notably radius and ammo/charges values.
Players will see both the bonuses and the requirements of almost all skill mods change as a result of this overhaul.
In end game, both Superior and High-End skill mods exist to cover the different needs of different builds. They can overlap in power, but High-End mods have a higher maximum roll potential.
We are looking at ways to provide lower value/quality mods in end game world tiers in the future to provide a solution to the fact that on very low skill power builds, there would be room for those mods, and currently we are aware that means you have to save mods from your leveling experience.



Player Skills:


Fixed an issue which caused the Bombardier Drone to get destroyed while climbing up/down a ladder or rope.
Improved feedback of Bombardier Drone crashing into obstacles during the bombing phase.
Fixed an issue with Firefly payload sometimes failing to activate when reaching its target.
Fixed an issue where Revive hive would not self-deploy if the agent was busy performing a different action such as using different skill when it triggered.
Revamped the Sniper Turret version of the turret skill.

It now will automatically target the hostile nearest to the players’ center-of-screen (the same method it uses to pick other turret targets) and will fire at that target when the button is pressed, without a lock-on order needed.
If a player aims at a hostile, the sniper turret will attempt to match their aim, allowing precision shots using the sniper turret.
An issue where the sniper turret wasn’t correctly getting bonus damage when hitting headshots has been fixed.


Revamped the Chem launcher skill platform.

Pressing the skill button will now equip the chem launcher similar to swapping to a weapon. The player can aim and shoot with normal weapon controls, as well as run with the skill and blindfire it.
Quick deploy at the agents own position is still available for the repair version of the chem launcher, using the same controls as before.
Unequipping the Chem launcher can be done using the skill button, the B (XBOX) / Circle (PS4) button or just using the weapon swap controls.



Loot & Rewards:


Control Point reward containers are giving the correct number of items for the corresponding Control Point's defense level. Defense level 4 now awards 5 items instead of 3.
Reduced DZ XP gain from Landmarks in Dark Zones.
Reduced the quality and power for items dropped in Propaganda Broadcast and one drop of Settlement Blockade activities to be more in line with other open world enemies and activities.
Updated XP rewards for low-level player playing in World Tiers to scale with player level.
Supply Drop activity loot container items now scale with every consecutive container you open. This includes lowering the reward of the first crate, but results in similar rewards for the activity as a whole.
Added 5 Specialized Apparel Cache Keys, awarded with levels 2 – 4.

As a thank you for playing, all players that played before April 4 get 5 Specialized Apparel Keys, regardless of their level.
Apparel Keys will be coming for those players later next week.


Faction Key loot drops from Bounties are now guaranteed and are displayed in the loot preview.
Adjusted bounty credit rewards to use scaling values in World Tiers instead of flat values so if a lower level player is playing with a higher-level player, they will receive an amount of credits more appropriate for their level.
Changed Skill Unlock rewards to be non-invaded only so that players who co-op with a higher-level friend to play invaded before playing on story won't receive the rewards.
Added Apparel cache key fragments to the PvP reward caches.
Adjusted the rewards for the street execution activity to give slightly lower quality/source level gear so the rewards are more in line with the difficulty of the activity.
Reduced the quality and source level charts used for item drops from the living world activities settlement blockade and Propaganda broadcast to be more in line with other open world drops and the difficulty of the activities.
Updated Collectibles set XP reward to scale with player level.
Fixed an issue which caused the Drone Helicopter to not use the correct loot table.


Crafting:


Increased Material cap for Standard and Specialized crafting materials to 400 (with all perks).
Increased Material cap for High-End crafting materials to 50.
Materials required for crafting weapon mods does not scale as aggressively and has much lower values in endgame.
Removed a small increase on materials required for crafting weapon mods after upgrading the crafting bench quality.
Changed the upgrade blueprints for exotic weapons Lullaby and Ruthless to not show up on the vendor until you are level 30.
Increased the power for the wandering vendor so her inventory has a narrower Gear Score range closer to the top of the World Tier Gear Score Range.
Set all exotic upgrade blueprints to award you the upgraded weapon on the max gear score of the current tier.
Removed a tiny increase on materials required for crafting weapon mods after upgrading the crafting bench quality.
Exotic weapons are now pre-equipped with lore text mods. These mods do not have stats and cannot be equipped elsewhere.


Talents:


Blind Justice – Modified the Buff that increases damage to your next shot now expires at end of combat and when out of combat
First Blood - Updated Normalized MMR Talent First Blood Text to correctly explain that the first shot after reloading from empty is the enhanced bullet.


NPCs:

Decreased damage of all NPC Automatic Shotguns
Decreased damage of all NPC SMGs
Hey agent! Staff in the Base of Operation will now shout at the player less frequently than before.



Main Missions Difficulty:

World Bank – Invaded – Server Room

​Increased the time which the Black Tusks needs to complete the download in the Server Room from 200 seconds to 250 seconds.
Reduced the difficulty in the Server Room by setting the Enemy group composition to light, light, medium - Instead of medium, heavy, medium.


DCD Headquarters

Mission level has been changed from 17 to 18.


Roosevelt Island – Invaded – Quarantine Docks

Reduced the difficulty of the first wave of enemies encountered in the last beat of the mission by lowering the amount of Elite and Veteran enemies.
Enemies in this part of the mission can only use mounted weapons if there are 2 players or more.

This should make it less punishing for solo-players attempting this mission.




Open World:


Removed death of civilian squad as a failure condition for Control Point takeover.

The Officer will now remain in downed state until players complete the takeover or wipe.


Black Tusk presence has been increased in invaded Open World zones.
New Ambusher NPCs now roam the streets of DC.


Social:


Added a “Friends & Clan” option for Call for Backup that only shows calls from friends and clan members.
Added a “Do Not Disturb” group privacy option that blocks all incoming invites.

Added a Field of View slider


PlayStation 4


Fixed an issue that could cause players to be stuck in the Specialization tutorial



Bug Fixes:


Fixed an issue that could cause undesired appearance changes to agents after login in or using the barber.

Players that have been permanently affected by an appearance change will unfortunately not be changed back with this fix. We want to apologize for any inconvenienced caused by this and we’re looking into options to allow players to fully customize their agent in the future, but we do not have a timeline for this feature.


Fixed an issue where the Cluster Seeker Mine could split up more often than intended.
Fixed an issue where the Defender Drone could have unlimited uptime.
Fixed an issue which prevented players from finishing the Unite cypher riddle.

We're confident this is not bugged anymore.


Fixed an issue that would cause the Stronghold activation animation to always play when entering the Base of Operations.
Fixed several instances of Audio logs not playing automatically when picked up.
Fixed an issue that could cause players being unable to finish the Side Mission Worksite Community.
Fixed an issue where players were unable to update their crafting bench after reaching a new World Tier.
Fixed an issue with NPCs sometimes not reacting properly to cooked grenades
Fixed an issue with Hunters not always appropriately despawning if a player flees a combat space
Fixed rare issue where NPCs could get stuck when attempting to melee a player in cover
Fixed issue with the Explosive Seeker Mine occasionally failing to path to its target
Fixed bug where players could fast travel to non-friendly Control Points
Fixed bug that made encounters with friendly NPCs requesting resources too rare
Fixed bug where underground enemies would come to the surface during the day
Fixed an issue where players were able to obtain gear with a higher gear score than intended

Any owned High-End items will be lowered to Gear Score 500.
Any owned Superior items will be lowered to Gear Score 490.
Clan caches no longer award items higher than the maximum loot Gear Score.
Recalibration still allows Gear Score to increase slightly past the maximum loot Gear Score.


Fixed a bunch of weird stairs and invisible walls.

Yeah... no, it is not fixed. Right after patch dropped I went there to check it: doors are still open, no npcs spawn etc. So yeah, you have fixed nothing.

Crafting bench is still bugged in regards to being able to be upgraded. Stuck at even 350-385 after moving to WT5.

I didn't see it in the notes but did you fix the bug where if you get riot foamed and die and the hive revives you you're still stuck in an invisible foam and can't move until you restart the entire damn game.

The subreddit had a very official-looking post with summary highlights, long before these full (?) patch notes were made available.

However, that summary highlights post has some things which are not repeated here in the full patch notes.

For instance, the following two points are mentioned in the summary highlights, but not mentioned anywhere in the full patch notes:


“Safeguard Talent” (extra healing) will get an internal cooldown so that it can’t be up all the time
Demolitionist Talent “Crisis Response” (when armor breaks you replenish your ammo) will also get an internal cooldown.


I also checked in-game and see no mention of a cooldown on these perks.

Can you please clarify whether these changes made it in-game and if so, why they are not mentioned in the full (?) patch notes nor show an updated tooltip in game?

Are mods similar to the original with negatives going to exist/become available again, as well? It seemed alluded to in the SotG that they would continue those as well, to provide bigger bonuses at a cost to give more choice. I really like how they made weaker ones without negatives (although, I didn't see it as as big a deal in most cases as many did), but would be nice for some other "choice" options. For example, I really liked the higher RoF mag option for shotguns. Sure, it was -Headshot Damage, but that was a sensible design choice and definitely one that could be effectively worked into play. Would give a better (higher RoF) option than the no negative version for talents like Pummel. Granted, some of the old ones were just poor choices for the negatives, but there were definitely some that I'd love to be able to keep the higher bonus because the negative is something that could definitely be worked around. Say, big bonus at the cost of DTE--use it to clear trash faster, then switch to a spec'd "boss killer" weapon, etc.

I guess the game is young and this could allow a greatly extended period of providing mod blueprints well into the future. Like I said, I really like the non-negative changes, but still think bringing back some high return with a cost mods would fill out some niche play styles and increase player choice.

Please Ubisoft for the Sake of god. Make an Option to disable the blurr effect on the weapons shoulder aiming view. I noticed a solutions before this Update. I could disable this mess of blur effect with opening photo Mode and close it again. It Was great to See the detailed weapons SHARP and clear with my paintings in Detail on my weapons. Now it is a blurry Patch where i Dont See Any Details again. The solutions Dont work anymore. Its disappointing..... Please it is in no game i know from you this Bad. On wildlands nö blur effect and on div. 1 nö blurr mess Patch effect. Please AT least fix this back so i can get back to my solutions to open and close the photo Mode!! PLEASE UBISOFT FIX THIS!!

I think it’s bugged I’ve been playing all day and havnt got one specialist ammo drop and havnt seen anyone using their signature weapons I don’t no what’s going on no one seems to be talking about it

I was worried about the crit nerfs since my build is optimized for it. But with the new weapon mods that removed the penalties/negatives, I can easily get my AR to max stability and increased accuracy without sacrificing range or elite damage. Now my average TTK in the shooting range is slightly faster than pre-patch, and aiming feels more consistent as a result of the new mods. I actually am liking how this feels better now. Seems like it balances out, at least from my experience so far.

been playing for over an hour now since i downloaded the patch and now specialization ammo isnt dropping at all...i use seeker mines and get tons of explosive kills but i have yet to see ANY ammo for my grenade launcher...yesterday i got it from damn near every explosive kill....why would you nerf the ammo drop rate...would love an explanation or if its a bug please fix it because theres literally no point in having a specailization weapon if NO AMMO is EVER gonna drop

I opened up my free apparel cache and the game froze. l logged back in and as soon as I got in-game it crashed instantly to desktop..**** this patch for now.

Looks pretty good. I wasn't a nerfed as bad as I thought I'd be. Glad the character face swap glitch will stop. Honestly, you guys just need to make it so we can just edit out character fully whenever we want. That would solve the issue of players not being able to get their's fixed. I'll keep my eyes open as I play this weekend.

Nice patch! I was a bit worried about the mod changes and scaling down crit chance+headshot dmg etc but damn. My AR build is just as fun (although i lost 20 bullits in the mag)

Lovin this game and still having 0 skill power as bfore because unfortunatly...skills suck the ballz outside chem heal and hive still. Other then that mucho gracias!

You all need to take it easy.


They are not saying it is OK. They apologize and say they are still looking into solutions to allow appearance changes.
They are not "scum" for fixing a bug. They did not choose to make you stay as your bugged appearance. They fixed the initial cause of the bug and say they are working on a fix. Software development is hard, not everything can be changed easily.


Put the pitchforks away. I'm sure it is frustrating to not look like the character that you designed, but it bugged out and they are trying.

Okay. Personally - I'm not agree with this, but okay, I choose to trust developers I guess. If they say it's hard - I guess it's hard.
But - if I start a new character - this bug will never get my anymore? I'm right? Or I miss something?

Not working for me. The game is still not starting the mission! When i enter the mission ground nothing happens, no NPC, no enemys, everything is empty!

This isn't mentioned in the patch notes, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the new options to disable glitch and strobe effects in the menus! I feel it makes navigating them a lot faster as I don't have to wait for the effect.

I still get "Hey Agent!" quite a bit, but I can usually ignore them. :D

The Rez Hive still doesn't trigger on various situations (sometimes just by being on uneven terrain), not just when you get downed while performing some action. That skill has a 40% chance to actually work...

They are not saying it is OK. They apologize and say they are still looking into solutions to allow appearance changes.
They are not "scum" for fixing a bug. They did not choose to make you stay as your bugged appearance. They fixed the initial cause of the bug and say they are working on a fix. Software development is hard, not everything can be changed easily.


Put the pitchforks away. I'm sure it is frustrating to not look like the character that you designed, but it bugged out and they are trying.

Then stop playing the game and move on to something else. Its really not that difficult to do. I imagine it's not easy to fix something where players got holed into the glitch being permanent.

I just want to say, that in the 30 minutes I was willing to play, I got 3 random crashes, so that is like 1 crash for every 10 minutes, which makes the game unplayable. What is even worse, this time it completely freezes my PC, so instead of relatively fast game restart, I have to do a full PC reboot in order to be able to play. Please pay some attention to this, it is unbearable and makes me very sad. Thank You!

What about:
-Removal of opening videos. Skipable at least.
-Removal of having to double click everything. No idea who thought this was a good idea.
-Removal of having to hold F to loot. This is fine for big things like selling or deconstructing but has to go for looting. Getting sick of this carrying over from console games.
-Logout becoming shutdown. Why do I have to wait for a load screen to get to the main menu then quit? Another horrible console thing that carried over. And no typing /quit is not good. I have had data lost when doing this. Cleared a mission and exited the mission area. Typed /quit. When I logged back in later it forgot I cleared that mission.

It's possible. Just gotta wait and see what they do. I'm sure they're working on it so it doesn't break more stuff. I'm not affected by the perma glitch, but I hope they just add the ability to change our full look in game. I'm sure its frustrating but to being overly angry about it isn't gonna help anything or get them to get it resolved any faster.

Still no performance improvement? How come you recommend 8GB of RAM for 1080p/60 yet it still runs horribly with such config.? I was really hoping to get way less drops with this patch but it just honestly felt like it worsened. :( :confused:

been playing for over an hour now since i downloaded the patch and now specialization ammo isnt dropping at all...i use seeker mines and get tons of explosive kills but i have yet to see ANY ammo for my grenade launcher...yesterday i got it from damn near every explosive kill....why would you nerf the ammo drop rate...would love an explanation or if its a bug please fix it because theres literally no point in having a specailization weapon if NO AMMO is EVER gonna drop

It remains to be seen if/when they will actually implement this hypothetical work around. IMO it's fair to complain about effectively "no fix" when for all you know it'll be covered by a feature enhancement 2 years from now (if at all).

This appearance bug was obviously unexpected. What other unexpected things can happen to your character? The sky is the limit, right? It is code made by people after all. Do you expect them to design a new game feature to fix every problem that corrupts a character? Of course not. This "wait for a better barber in the future" is a cop out because they don't want to fix characters the hard way. If your characters gets broken somehow they need an effective way to compensate you and/or recreate them, whether it be level boosting or copying or even data fixing tables with incorrect values.

To me, that's the most disconcerting part of this. Basically they're saying that if a bug screws up your character there's a good chance they won't be able to fix your character. That should concern anyone that invests time into their character. There will be bugs that prevent you from getting X or change Y and they can't give you a new character or edit your current one then you're just going to be SOL. "We fixed it for your next character" is of little consolation to me as I don't plan on rerolling periodically.

PC version really needs hotfix for really bad performance issue and fast because right now game is pretty much unplayable for me when yesterday before the patch game did run around 60 fps on medium settings at 1080p resolution but after todays patch game runs around 25-45 fps (in Tidal Basin stronghold the fps drops even to 15-20) on SAME graphic setting at same 1080p resolution.

Please put in an option to use the chem launcher the old way. Can't hardly use it soloing now cause it won't shoot it at your feet and you really need it to be instant not having to deal with multiple button hits when you are in need of an emergency heal. I would much rather have it working the way it was before

Also now that I'm WT5 the gear score of my drops ranges 420-440 for purple and 450-452 for gold and I mostly get purple. Why is this the same if not less than WT4? I bought gear to bump my score but after 4 hours of playing not one drop over 452. All these nerfs have me enjoying the game less. I spend way too much time reloading & hunting for ammo with the big jump in time to kill. I also just found out duplicate apparel caches only give a tiny amount of XP instead of key frags back. Not a huge deal but annoying.

i'm at 476 after around 5hours of playing, go hunt some weapon/armor box's. leveling up caches give good gear also. I've had 0 issues with ammo, i normally use chatterbox (exotic smg) and a bolt action sniper. as for signature ammo, they have lowered the drop rate, now its time to use your specialization perks to get more ammo. they all have them.

I swear they changed the drop rate for the demolitionist signature ammo as well. 4 hours of gameplay and I only got 2 drops of signature ammo.

Also, why change the Ext mag sizes to where we can no longer get 30 rnds extra ammo? it was fine the way it was.Dont fix what isnt broken.

but, at least our weapons sound silenced/suppressed now.

I'm aware of that. My level up caches dropped at 450 each time & all the open world caches dropped below that. I tracked headshot xp bonuses and was over 80 before I got a single marksman round. I didn't see any mention in the pach notes about decreasing specialty ammo drops. Are you guessing/assuming or can you reference where that's posted?

I think it’s bugged I’ve been playing all day and havnt got one specialist ammo drop and havnt seen anyone using their signature weapons I don’t no what’s going on no one seems to be talking about it

Having similar issues and have seen people talk about it on Twitter. I use grenade launcher and I never had issues with ammo because I tend to blow up a lot of people but now even if I do that it still doesn't drop. And as someone mentioned I did switch between the specializations just to see if it'd fix that and it absolutely did not.

Also, the mag being only +10 rounds... Not great. And the chem launcher not deploying just with one press is just a mess. Other than that, it's been fun playing Tidal Basin! :)

Double tap the skill button to instant heal yourself. After today's patch it's way easier to handle it, especially healing teammates!

^-This. I am in the minority but being able to use this as a proper weapon gives me a lot more reason to use the riot foam variant. The healing thing, at least on PS4 is a minor change. And I actually find it easier to support my team by more quickly throwing out 3 heal charges in a row.

Instead of a single tap it's now a double tap. Just an extra quick button press. And if your armor drops, you'll want to be pressing that button fast anyway.

As far as those of us that use oxidizer and foam, this is actually a blessing. It'll be that much easier to control the battlefield if we're mobile while using it.

I think everyone was just used to how it worked before, so now that it's different, it's getting people killed due to control change. Give it time, get used to it I say. I've already started training myself, but once in a while I reflexively tap only once. Like any bad habit, needs training to be broken. :)

Only thing that's bad about it, unlike regular weapons you cannot parkour/climb/vault with it in hand. It'd be nice if you could, but that would require unbinding the swap from Circle/B. That I think at this point would confuse people even more.

Only started playing the division 1 after I played the Division 2 beta so new to the game, but damn there is a lot of whingers here. Like really. Who gives a rats arse what your character appearance is. Its mostly irrelevant to game play. Also, I have had no issues with game crashes. I'm playing on a 60mhz monitor so the frame rate is exactly what I would expect.

I have noticed a small glitch that when approaching the control point officer it does not always give you the option to talk to him so you can donate. But walking around then going back to him eventually sorts that. Nothing to start crying about. Don't really like having to redo missions as it makes the gameplay overly repetitive, but anyway.

Having server updates in prime playing time for my part of the world is damned annoying but we are used to being treated like second class citizens in the gaming world.

The revive hive is like gambling some times it will work and pick ya up other times it will just drop make the animation like it's going to pick you up but the blue circle will not show up and won't revive you. Seems like it doesn't work if a teammate is within the range of it would be amazing if this could be fixed massive pretty pretty please

I get that you're sorry it happened, but I have no intention on continuing forward with this goofy looking character model. Up until I was affected by this bug, I was loving every minute of the game. But now, all of my attachment to my character is gone along with my motivation to improve it, and I AM NOT rerolling and regrinding back through everything to fix your mistake. The words "Unfortunately we don't have an ETA" is completely unacceptable and need to be replaced with "We will fix this before we fix anything else"...just like my character model was replaced.

I have played alot of games in my tenure, with alot of bugs, but this is by far the worst bug that has every occurred in the history of bugs. You and everyone defending your resolution are vastly underestimating the seriousness and implications of this. Character attachment and personalization are the NUMBER ONE driving motivators for longevity in this game space and you should be prioritizing this above all else for those involved because you've stolen their motivation to play the game and given them no solution to restore it. All of the content you added is vastly overshadowed by this for those affected.

By removing maluses on the attachments for weapons you just destroyed the game and the nice gunplay feel many players bought the game for. It's The Division 1 all over again, nice job. Plus you should have done this in BETA not in release as many people bought the game SPECIFICALLY because the weapon modding was making kind of sense and the guns had a kick. Now Assault rifles are lasers and random spread that you can't control of course, try the M4, it has 0 recoil and random spread ,uìyou don't even need to compensate, just hold your fire buttond down and don't move the mouse.
Worst patch ever made for a released game, even with its good fixes.

Crafting bench is still bugged in regards to being able to be upgraded. Stuck at even 350-385 after moving to WT5.

At WT5 gear score 501 and can only craft 350-380.......I hope it gets fixed soon.

It might be an effect of the no guaranteed max GS item drops they casually confirmed in a stream, that is not in the notes. As you are no longer guaranteed a GS 500 item if you are GS 500, it might have broken more stuff.

Hive revive is still bugged and even if it works you are stuck in textures , audio and strange fps drop still happening even on lowest settings possible. Game still crashes even on high end computers. Reall fix coming when? Mojority of players payed over 100 bucks for this game , where is quality pls . Did you even test this game before you make changes ? Why we must test it for you for free ? What is probem ? So you just earned millions and now wanking on yahts somewhere , nice. I know why are servers so terrible , because owners of ubisoft doesnt care , they just look for money , they dont play this game so they dont need better server , they better save those money to become even more rich

Gear Score variance for High Ends when player average Gear Score is 500 or above is terrible design. Leads to unrewarding loot where players, especially those that min-max, which is a significant chunk of the market for looter shooters, feel their time is not only wasted, but dis-respected.

On the SOTG stream there was an off-hand comment about how GS variance for drops is working as intended, which is a terrible way to increase player "engagement" by artificially adding time-gates towards gear progression another layer of randomness, where at first players would search for weapons that have the correct rolls they wanted, but now also hope said weapon was at maximum gear score as well.

Artificially inflating the amount of time needed for grinding by adding these extra layers of variance is one of the main reasons Anthem, another looter-shooter game out currently, has been lambasted for not respecting their players' time as they could complete some of the most challenging missions in the game and receive none of the equivalent of a Division 2 Exotic or one they could not use for their class, and I would argue the main reason they are hemorrhaging players. Please do not follow the same path.

But what about the memory leak on PC? That should be#1 on the list to fix.

I have 32 gigs of RAM, I've never seen my ram usage hit 60% while playing a game but the longer I player this the higher it goes until eventually I have to restart. After 4 hours I was passing 80% and that was post patch yesterday.

My poor son who only has 8 gigs in his PC can only play the game for about 30-45 min before his frame rate becomes so bad he needs to reboot.

He's using a i7 5820k and a GTX 1080, I'm using the same CPU and a 2080ti ftw3 ultra.

It's definitely a memory leak and it might be better than it was in the beta but my task manager shows I'm using 80% of 32 gigs and the division 2 is only using 5.5 gigs. Adding everything up never comes anywhere near 80% and the second I quit the game my memory use drops from 80% to an average of 11%.

Gearscore is what you have equiped I think? I'm have real issues with RNG right now as I have min/maxed 450 GS builds for all primary weapon types and all that is dropping for me for my last 7hrs of play is trash Murakami/providence/Gila items all at no more than a 463 GS. Attributes rolled on them are lower than my 450 gear too!

Cannot pull up the map. Cannot call for backup. Cannot access settings. I could do all of that on April 4th. I was hoping the last patch would fix it, but it has not.

I cleared my cache. I powered down. I then contacted support and submitted a ticket telling them what my problems were and what I had already done. The response from the support team was to clear my cache and power down.

Don't know what's going on since u'r patch but it's insane. The bench stuck at 400, and the drops don't want to come with higher Gearscore... i don't understand

Fixed an issue where Revive hive would not self-deploy if the agent was busy performing a different action such as using different skill when it triggered.

Not fixed! Revive skill still does not work. 50% of the time it works to revive self. Never works in a group to revive allies! Perhaps you should consider removing it! Sick of allies using a broken skill! Could use something more viable!

- new sets: just a bad joke (please fire the guy who designed those)
- 460 vs 500 gear: no difference - no reason to "upgrade" my old (WT 4), optimized gear - bad design, no benefit in higher GS items - just a higher GS number. I can do heroic with my "old" gear! lol
- 490ish gear drops with 500+ gear score equipped
- some people stuck with work bench (I am glad I am not)
- T-pose of dead enemies floating in the air
- no grenade launcher ammo
- mod changes need more tweaking
....
....
the list goes on. Basically its a game that I dont wanna continue to play at its current state. Its just pointless. To me it looks like you havent tested the "new patch" at all internally, before releasing it.

*Feedback after several hours of play Friday*

Too much (or many) core system level changes for being only two weeks into the release of the game. Moving to World Tier 5 again feels too steep from WT4, at least I hope that is the issue as apposed to enemies reaching bullet sponge levels of HP that many feared at release.

- New gear (post 450) appear to have fewer perks on them than previous gear (usually only one instead of three) - Bit disappointing / not rewarding as before
- Getting a fair number of green or purple gear right after switching to WT5
- Reported numerous times, but extreme lack of special ammo (party of four, we maybe saw 20 total rounds in a six hour play session)
- Chem launcher change...not the best solution; it feels clunky and seems to remove the quick healing option that we had before
- Not sure if intended by tactical link does not kick in unless you have ammo for your specialized weapon and there has been no ammo
- Some of the weapon mods are just not worth it anymore, mags that add 10 rounds to a rifle/assault rifle/smg is nearly worthless
- Overall performance appeared to take a fairly serious nose dive after the April 5th patch; lot more enemy T poses and just minor glitches in AI

General communication feedback - would help if it was posted what got adjusted with the reboot this morning - was something fixed?

People build characters around what you have in the game then you absolutely **** on them? Maybe this game should have been in testing longer.
And please, Ubisoft, for the love of God, most people HATE the electronic devices. They are annoying. We pick them up to have them not to listen to them. Give use a quicker option to stop the transmission. Please. Make it triple tap f for all I care.

Yeah... no, it is not fixed. Right after patch dropped I went there to check it: doors are still open, no npcs spawn etc. So yeah, you have fixed nothing.

Still broke for me to.. I think this is the 2nd time trying to fix it....

I asked in my clan and gear score should be affected by items in inventory and stash, I think it was implemented so you don't have to equip pieces of armor that will break your builds but you still get some progression. It worked before the recent patch so I wasn't just imagining things hehe.

Enemies in this part of the mission can only use mounted weapons if there are 2 players or more.
This should make it less punishing for solo-players attempting this mission.

This is not true, the NPCs still use mounted weapons at the last part, making it still a pain in the *** to do that part solo....please QA your "fixes" ...

This patch is horrible for people who like to use skill builds. Game is going downhill fast. I know so far about 20 people leaving this game in the fust and im starting to see why. Give us back our skill mods. Its sad seeing a game with such potential go downhill so fast because of bad developers. Also is anyone else sick and tired of running into 5 different mobs at once while trying to do anything on the map to where they come fron every direction? Cmon Ubisoft spread out the mobs and give us back our good skill mods.

You guys need to stop everything you're currently working on and prioritize giving us a solution to reverting or recreating our character appearance. I get that you're sorry it happened, but I have no intention on continuing forward with this goofy looking character model. Up until I was affected by this bug, I was loving every minute of the game. But now, all of my attachment to my character is gone along with my motivation to improve it, and I AM NOT rerolling and regrinding back through everything to fix your mistake. The words "Unfortunately we don't have an ETA" is completely unacceptable and need to be replaced with "We will fix this before we fix anything else"...just like my character model was replaced.

I have played alot of games in my tenure, with alot of bugs, but this is by far the worst bug that has every occurred in the history of bugs. You and everyone defending your resolution are vastly underestimating the seriousness and implications of this. Character attachment and personalization are the NUMBER ONE driving motivators for longevity in this game space and you should be prioritizing this above all else for those involved because you've stolen their motivation to play the game and given them no solution to restore it. All of the content you added is vastly overshadowed by this for those affected.

Entirely unacceptable.

Thanks for the updates. I know there are always mixed reactions to a patch, but I greatly appreciate removing the negative penalties on the weapon mods. I realize some bonuses were decreased, but I like being able to mod weapons without worrying about hurting performance. The few mods that retain penalties are very reasonable.

However, that summary highlights post has some things which are not repeated here in the full patch notes.

For instance, the following two points are mentioned in the summary highlights, but not mentioned anywhere in the full patch notes:


“Safeguard Talent” (extra healing) will get an internal cooldown so that it can’t be up all the time
Demolitionist Talent “Crisis Response” (when armor breaks you replenish your ammo) will also get an internal cooldown.


I also checked in-game and see no mention of a cooldown on these perks.

Can you please clarify whether these changes made it in-game and if so, why they are not mentioned in the full (?) patch notes nor show an updated tooltip in game?

I think someone from Ubi really needs to clarify this change.

Look its obvious they wanted to nerf the clutch/safeguard/crisis/high crit SMG build, especially for pvp.

But if you guys @UBI want your game to be taken seriously for pve you need to give the theorycrafters the tools we need to figure out our builds.

Now, to maarx, I can say that crisis definitely has an ICD. Its short, my guess is in the 5 to 10 second range, I need to test it more. But, it's not instantaneous like before.

Several things are bothersome. Most fundamental of which, to me at least, is how I can no longer configure the keys "E"= Interaction/Loot Items and "F"= Select Grenade/Mod Items in Inventory. Those two are very uncomfortable on a physiological level. To press "F" to Loot Items and Interact actually uncomfortably extends my index finger. A discomfort which previously, for whatever reason, I didn't have to experience (allowance to bind keys in the previous manner). Please consider giving those of us who care about this issue, an opportunity to 'choose' what keys we'd like to press for what effect.

Someone else mentioned the desire to be able to skip the intro logos and splash screens. I agree.

Rest of the changes are either too slight for me to notice and so I'm indifferent, or they're big and I'm not very bright.

On a more subjective level, I'd say that it's really rather sad to see the effects of the Gear Sets. It's underwhelming to say the least. The only one which might be interesting is the skills-based Gear Set. Others are so bland, so uninteresting. Confusing because Division 1 brought out so much really quite creative bonuses and stats which were fun. FireCrest, Predator, Striker, Sentry's Call, Reclaimer. Even Banshee to some degree.

Which brings me to the last point. What is the sensation I, as a player, supposed to feel as I play your game? Powerful? Bored? Interested? Indifferent?
I ask not as rhetoric, but to probe. So many of you, dear developers, will call your game a "power fantasy" and then take all that supposed "power" away from the player. I'm left asking, why? This was escapism, until it's a simulation? Yes, with all the bullet sponges. That fall off as an argument. I just want to have fun. Damn it. If it takes me months to be ultra-powerful. So be it, but please, allow me to feel this. Restrict such feelings to PvE if you have to. I understand those who love PvP might already take me for a cry baby. There's no other way for me to communicate with you other than to communicate with you.

I hope you see this. Know I appreciate the difficulty of development. As much as a lay-person can. Consider my words if you can, if you care to. Thanks. Peace.

Not working for me. The game is still not starting the mission! When i enter the mission ground nothing happens, no NPC, no enemys, everything is empty!

Same here for me. The mission just started the first time I got there. I died there, respawned at the White House and then left the game. Since then there triggers an audio transmission but nothing more

Met all the criteria but I get the message "All crafting conditions are not met" even though they are.

Other with the same issue have posted on reddit.

Chatterbox upgraded just fine, but having trouble with Ruthless.

Some people really care about how their characters look. Some people spend a lot of money just on in-game cosmetics. Some people can't even upgrade their crafting bench right now--will that bug be fixed for those characters, or when it's fixed will it just be fixed for whatever characters they create after the fix? Is there anything about your character that you would care about being broken indefinitely?

Theres a couple Mods on the patch notes that I cant seem to figure out how to get. The 20 round ext mag for 5.56, the rugged iron sight (crit chance). Are these supposed to be RNG weekly blueprints? I don't really feel like 72 weeks of playing is worth getting the rest of these mods. Just curious I don't see anyone asking these questions. other than that I have noticed that my 450 gear still has higher rolls than the 490-500 gear I have seen dropped. A couple pieces have been comparable but for the most part the gear is dropping with much lower attributes. Lastly recalibrating gear right now has such small returns. I am right with people that my optimized 450 gear is still much better than anything ive found after 20 hours of playing in this patch.

Well, I go away for a few days and I come back ready to catch up with my clanmates and whatever you did in the patch has dropped my FPS by at least 60% from pre-patch.

Seriously guys, what is it with this fix 1 thing, only to break another (or re-break, as it is on multiple occasions)?

We are paying a premium for a game (I refuse to call it a service) that is years past would be working out of the box (remember what GOLD RELEASE meant?). Seems that the only way to force the quality back up is to stop pre-ordering (which I don't do anymore after Div 1) and now will probably wait till the games go on sale for 50% off before I buy from now on.

Sorry, but I'm just over paying my hard earned cash for a sub-par and half-finished product. I don't get much time to play these days so that makes it all the more painful when I've spent the cash and am not getting a decent return.

Unfortunately, I haven't got any special ammunition since the patch! I played yesterday for 4 hours. I killed: with grenade / special grenade / SMG / LMG / ASR /. I didn't get any special ammunition from Demolitionist.
Does anyone know why this is what? Thx! There are a couple of small bugs, but Div2 is doing very well! Really nice work!
I hope that Division 2 does not happen in Division 1!

Special ammo for sharpshooter drops at a normal rate. Atleast for me. Ofc the time between drops vary, but it would take the fun out of it, if it dropped constantly. It feels like I really have to conserve it for those special occasions and I see no problem with it. Perhaps the drops for survivalist and grenadier are worse.

That is how game IT works. In the "real IT" world you would loose your job for releasing a patch on friday on go away for the weekend, in the magic world of game IT, that is normal. The customer has no choice to find a better hoster for the game, you can only quit and near always you payed up front.

They release a game that is at the best 80% completed, leaving the testing to us...We found bugs, post on forums, the moderators report to developers (if we can call them this way, i think a group of monkeys could do better!), then they'll try to patch something.

The latest patch, leaving aside the mods or the skill questions, literally broke the game. Bugs at every corner!

And now, they write here of an Emergency server restart to fix the 100000th bug? Without a warning on game?? I was on a mission and the game blown on my face...DELTA-3...i hate deltas.

My boss, if i fail several times like this, will eat my work contract and kick me out of the window!

Good job Ubisoft / Massive...i see "The Division 1 experience" taught you nothing.

Quick deploy at the agents own position is still available for the repair version of the chem launcher, using the same controls as before.


Before self deploy on ps4 was just tapping r1 now all it does is equip it. If i want to self deploy i have to aim it behind me now.

Can't believe how butt hurt ppl are about a visual glitch that changed their character, and massive are even looking at that still to be fixed they haven't said they aren't doing anything about it. The crafting bench actually changes the game for ppl I've made a second character to get a levelled bench and it's bugged that one too. The visual glitch is fixed so it won't happen again and u could just make another character and do it that way then.

Fix the bench for everyone that's affected asap. Prioritise it please.

Can not believe that this whole character appearance bug is permenant for some including myself. This really kills the game for me. It literally took me over a hour to create my character and now he isn’t even the correct race. Ugh so discouraging...

I'm just curious, what's the actual point of world tier 5 when you're doing less damage (in general, as a result to the nerf of dmg stats, weapon mods, special ammo drop and still need time to min/max the gear pieces) and an insignificant amount of armor, health increase. Crit chance nerf to me, somewhat makes sense, but way too much. I would suggest capping the crit chance increase on weapon to a certain amount like 25%, instead of the pathetic 5%, 10%. You want your game to be diverse, then give people the tools to do it, I was having so much fun in world tier 4, not anymore. Not to mention the difficulty increase with your gear score (Not sure if this is true, but it's something I noticed), missions/strongholds get way too time-consuming around gear score 500 compared to 450, what's point of this when you don't do more damage.

i have noticed on ps4 that i cant remove or disable the motion blur at aiming (over Shoulder) anymore. it makes weapons low resolution at aiming. before update tidal basin, we had a solution by going into photo mode and getting off photo mode fixed this blurry aiming over shoulder for seeing weapons and shoulder details sharp and in full resolution. now this does not work anymore.

i have figured out for some photos uploaded on imgur for you. there you can see what i mean. to figure it out by yourself. aim to an open area and then to an object or wall next to you. and you will notice the difference!!

So, 120 hours+ played, gearscore 510, whats wrong?

1 New loot drops are awful.Cleared heroic instance, got 1(ONE) 500 drop, very rewarding... WT4 loot was great, please, let us loot stable 500 drops, not 485-495, while we are 505-510...

2 New sets are VERY weak. Let them have talents from regular gear.

3 Craft. Gambling with stats is ok, but crafting 450 gear in WT5 really? Its totally useless.

4 Revive hive - still does not work sometimes, it drops - gives revive animation and sound - but nothing happens.

5 Control points. After capturing several 3-4 level points, blueprints dissapeared from rewards list AGAIN. So, still a fix needed.

6 New mission for season pass owners - you cant just pick it from drone operator. She just does not give it. of course I did all her previous missions.

7 Special ammo drops are close to 0.


Please, rebalance loot drops.. I dont feel like I m being rewarded for my grind.

Currently world tier 3 and I still can’t upgrade my crafting bench it’s been stuck in specialised gear (200) now and have no option to upgrade to legendary or high end still. Unlocked world tier 3 crafting upgrade but can’t actually upgrade because of the previous upgrades still not showing up

Some of the mods i acquired have disappeared for me. The sturdy 7.62 and 5.56 magazine I obtained but seem to be gone now. The +20 rounds/-10% reloadspeed is what the new one offers but it seems no longer something I can put on any of the related weapons.

I have to say it doesn't happen as often, moments where I use the chem launcher right before I go down i'll be like fk I bugged it, but then it proceeds to revive me anyway. As I have grown used to it not working after using a skill :P

O Jogo começou tão bom agora com essa atualização começaram a estragar o jogo igual no division 1 já mudou o som das armas que tava bem realista para esse som sem graça. As metralhadoras leve no division 1 não valia nada agora no division 2 que elas estavam boa já começaram a nerfa cadência sim da arma e pente de munição.

But now we hardly can spawn hunters, the mechanics just don't work. Or you have to try multiple times
in different player sessions until a switch for example can be triggered. For example the four targets in
the windows near where we meet the "side-story-hunter" didn't spawn the Hunter as they do before.
The hunters seem to be broken.

Dont know if its already mentioned. and i dont want to read 11 pages for it, but when i leave a Settlement, the NPC guarding the gates are welcoming me in.
So i go out, the gate opens and the npc says Welcome! or Good to see you back. its weird.

Quick deploy at the agents own position is still available for the repair version of the chem launcher, using the same controls as before.

This not true. You have to double tap on XBOX now to self heal. Before it was a single press of the button or press and hold something like that. Now there is a cumbersome double tap, which doesn't work right 25% of the time.

WT4 was very good
WT5 is like Anthem, very lackluster.

Loot needs to be fixed, feels useless to play at all atm. Running all kinds of missions/bounties on high difficulty and getting 90-95% under ilv 500.
In WT4 you chased for the perfect stats/build you wanted on the gear, now you can just hope u get ilv500 at all.

Skills requirements still nonsense, 95% of my mods are so far above current skill levels, by the order of thousands, whereas skill on gear is measured in low hundreds if that..

I can live with the thought of spending X amount time doing Control Points (Alert Level 3 / WT4) to get Light Extended 5.56 Mag (+30 rounds / -10% RoF) that got nerfed to +10 rounds.
Nerfing existing item and adding almost the same one - Sturdy Extended 5.56 Mag (+20 Rounds / -10% Reload Speed) behind time/RNG/grind gate of weekly projects is, pardon my language, **** move, Massive.

In regards to the "Character Apperance issue", I have heard many people say there could be an Npc added in the medical bay of the White House which could alter the characters base appearances (Race, Gender, etc.) and allow the first time to be free and after could be purchased with in game currency, similar to GTA5

Hive Reviver is also bugged when it works. Sometimes it works fine but is broken most of the time. My character won't move whenever I get auto-revived by the skill. I can fire guns, throw grenades, do short distance cover to cover move and 'ctrl' move (if there are objects/obstacles beside me) but not actual movements with the Keyboard WASD or Gamepad Stick (I'm on PC). I experienced this 3 times yesterday. The only way I can move again is when I let my self get killed so my teammates can just revive me by the default manual reviving. We were laughing when it first happened now it's just irritating.

I'm still stuck in WT4! How is this still not fixed? I was told weeks ago that they were working on a fix for this and that a patch was being released. Wtf my game is broken, I cannot progress, I am stuck picking up 450 gear score trash. All about the end game, LOL!
