I will do a skin, then play it only to find that some of the areas that I have painted don't show up. What's up with that?

When working with layers:

- Make sure that the layers you want to be seen are switched on when you convert to bitmap.

- Make sure that the upper layers are transparent so that the lower layers show through.

Some planes are quite badly texture-mapped. Some areas appear to be on the wrong position (i-16 wings "split" in the middle and are mirrored from there on etc), and on some planes the texture is stretched so badly that, if you paint 2 1-pixel lines they´ll get "merged" (blurred) so that they completely dissappear in game. (p 11c wings for example)

Seems the modelers did not use unwrap tools like chilliskinner (http://www.chilliweb.co.uk/chilliskinner/) (great tool btw) or similar. Looks mostly like flat projection mapping to me that causes these probs.
