Is this the rule rather than the exception in PF?

If not. How hard can it be to implement for all planes? Some planes have it!!

It's pretty cool to blast some bomber full of holes and then fly up beside her and see that the crew is dead http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

i miss it, frankly im tired of the all pervading political correctness these days, anyone remember "wings of fury" a highly enjoyabel arcade game that let you strafe guys http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

not PC so not allowed these days. im afraid war is often not particularly pc in itself, so making a PC game cant be to good for a "simulation"

anyway rant over, i recal one attack early on in il2 when i made a headon run V a he-111 after closing and prepping to make another run i saw the ketchup in the window, i watched the aircraft continue for a while and then the crew finnally bailed out.

these days i do the same thing and then go back and shoot it some more because i didnt know i already killed the pilot, waste of ammo and a lack of immersion

never mind, still a great game, i just miss this for immersion and the obvious other things like being able to tell ppl are dead, i recal accuonts of a german pilot taking about how he aproached a b-17 and could see the rear gunner wounded in the back so he let it go, couldnt shoot the guy.
so i know its realistic to be able to see if your opponent is wounded or dead etc.

would be cool but it will upset the do-gooders wont it.
