IIRC There were no FW190 at Stalingrad.

As far as I recall, the first squadrons of 190s were present in the Kuban in the spring of 1943, and even then it was only like 1 or 2 squadrons. It wasn't until later in the year the 190s began appearing in numbers on the eastern front. I beleive the majority of the Jagdgeschwaders equipped with the 190 were based in France and Germany to oppose the bomber streams.

the I./JG51 reached the easternfront in oktober 1942 with its new Fw190A-3 , base around Wjasma.
III./JG51 and Geschwaderstabstaffel JG51 (groundattack) came in december 1942 back to the easternfront with Fw190A

the question is if the fly south to Stalingrad ore not..........i doubt it.

JG54 got its first Fw190A in january 43 - but they were in the north.

the SChlG1 came back to easternfront with their Fw190F (Fw190A4/U3)in may 1943.

so, the Axis fighters around Stalingrad should be Bf109F4&G2 and Rumanian Bf109E-7/Z (as -7/N) , groundattack sorties should be flown by Bf109E-7/B and rumanian IAR81a!
