View Full Version : Ship Vulnerability Areas Mod with new ships

For a long time now I have used the vulnerability mod that produces various coloured overlays on key places of ships in the recognition manual.

This mod is fairly old now and with such mods as IUB, GW, NYGM and Bunkerrats compilation of extra ships these ships have no overlay and it is pot luck if you hit the correct sweet spot.

The question I have is; Is there a similar mod that covers all the old and includes the new ships that have spawned in the last 6 to 10 months?

goose...sry but i don't belive there is any overlay for some of the new ships...maybe somebody will embark on a quest to correct this..but it will not be me ..glad your enjoying the ships just the same .. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks for the reply....I honestly didn't think there would be an overlay for the new ships, it was worth a try and throwing the question out there.

I guess I will aim for the smoke stack as it's usually above the engines. Not seen the new ships yet, but from what I see in the Recognition manual they will be a treat to see...and sink them as some of them have rather generous amounts in tonnage http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

..true..the empire celt tanker goes down with a good bow area shot...the rose castle ore carrier on the other seems to go faster with each torpedo....the chatam troopship is usally a 1 shot kill ..the wale factory might need 2 but usally 1 works...the ammo freighter is a 1-2 shot ship..the ancient liner seems to eat torps also...the large old liner is 1-2 shots..this is just off the top of my noggin... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

some of the new ships have been provided with a coloured box for rec manual version and a normal version!

In GW plus the other super mods and my own add on, it's mostly without the coloured boxes! If someone could programme a program to create these coloured boxes for all ships as an option, it would be nice! Sometimes, when I'm in the mood, I would like these boxes back, but now I'm more or less accustomed to the rec manual with the boxes! It makes it a little more challeging!
