I'm wondering if it would be possible that one or more types of fir trees (coniferous) could be added to the "Objects" FMB menu. The new Norway and Slovakia maps, as well as the highlands in Cuban and Crimea would greatly benefit from that.

PLease, please, make some trees that are as tall as the large forests the mapmakers use! The tallest FMB tree is only 1/2 the height of that forest "object."

Seems many of our objects here are half scale.....Ever park a BF109 next to a 3 story building?........109 is a small plane, so makes you wonder if we're invading "Munchkinland".

I hope all new maps are bigger unlike the last Germany Map; that was to small and not labeled. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Not some are 1/2 scale, more like there is no consistant scale at all.

Look at some of the large hangers for PF. They have doors on the texture. Regular 3ft wide human doors. You could drive a car through them.

Look at the gas/oil drums. They are HUGE. More like 110 gallon, not 55, lol.

The little sheds are also huge. Odd that some are clearly smaller than they should be since bigger building blocks means fewer building objects to clutter the map for the same coverage.

Since we already know there are many new objects associated with some of these new maps, I'd really love to see some of the wish list objects we've all wanted to see. Heck, I'd be happy if one of the modellers for new maps would make a couple rectangular boxes, and solicit some of us for novel skins for them, they could submit a couple as new objects. The modelling work of creating a perfect rectangle shouldn't be too hard, lol.

Gas drums on their sides as a simple object mostly done with textures (a trapazoid from the side) would be great, too, since they were usually stacked that way.

It is contrary to the laws in many European countries to depict violent death involving Munchkins. Even though Oleg had accurate flight data for Munchkins, he didn't include them in the final release due to the fear of litigation.
So, the munckins hadda go- but they left their buiding behind.

Don't like pork myself http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif.

But what I'd really like is cows as placable objects http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It'd look pretty cool when you are down low. Might give a bit more interest to the scenery.

Cows! Lmao, I foresee steak for tea!! Can you imagine the server chat:

Skycaptain was killed by a cow! meats back on the menu boys!

What I'd like to see is birds!! now imagine a flock flying across the runway as you take off! carnage!!! would make flying jets a bit more fun!

BIRD---> INTAKE = CHICKEN TIKKA!

Yeah more trees <--- on topic!

Use your imagination, cows are easy to modelin the game: place ten german motorcycles inside the farm fence, each motorcycle with 1000 random waypoints, there you are, you have some ultrafast/ultrahungry cows http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Place a handful of germans inside the fence with the sheep and you have to change the rating of the game <g,d,r>

It is unlabeled on purpose. That map represents a generic area, not a specific location. Just like the other online maps http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Which brings up why it is small

How about adding some players on that nice football stadiums, then we could have disscussions like: "That Ballack is way too fast" and "Beckham should manouver better"
I would need to change my sig to: "Patiently waiting for Rooney" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Most needed EASY objects:

1. A "side view" of a forest. 1 polygon, maybe 100m long and as tall as the large forest areas on the map.

2. A taller tree. A tree as tall as the large forest areas in map--preferably NOT a conifer so it can be used on any map.

3. Not a new object, but up the damage threshhold of ALL the trees so that they only blow up and go away with the largest bombs, maybe 500-1000kg and up.

4. There are 2 quay objects, 140, and 141. WTF is the difference between them? How about making one of them nearly flat to the ground?

5. There are 2 split-rail fence objects---if they are the same (seem to be to me) then replace one of them with a hedge.

6. You know the giant hill for the castle? Make a tiny version of that---about as tall as the tallest aircraft revetment.

7. The square log/dirt revetment for Artillery/AAA guns provides a cut and paste option. Give us a straight wall of those logs. It could be for build them-yourself revetments/emplacement, also for primitive ports.

8. Bridges. Give us the bridges that are placed in the map by mapmakers, but are not in the FMB. There are at least 2 I think.

9. How about a couple irregular shapes---flat, with standard ground texture. They could be used to alter coastlines a litte as needed. Make one more or less rectangular (no straight lines, a "wobbly" rectangle) and decently long. Mission builders could even narrow rivers then.

******No, I know you're interested only in Pacific theater... ok, make two, one for tater http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

There's a difference between the two, but anyway I'll love to have a flater one, so if you place vehicles on it the'll not sink!

******Give me a hedge, Normandy map should be full of them...

******This is something every kid knows, to build mighty castles from the humblest cubes, a feature which was not really exploited by the team which produced the FMB objects.

*****This I love the most, provided they're visible from long distance. So here I am, I build a marvelous harbour, we fly now to blow it up and what do we see from afar: greeen, green, green, and suddenly pops up the enemy port, I'm already half dead because of depression http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
