I was wondering if we are going to be able to exit the Animus like in AC 1. For one, i loved that you could in AC 1 and it would be awesome to be able to do that in AC:B (especially because Desmond is actually useful and he can actually free run and stuff now).

I think we MIGHT be able to, since acording to one of the Uplay Achievements that have been annouced, one of them is called "Dust to Dust: Find 1 Artifact in the Present." which would seem to indicate we will get to go looking for (and be able to find) at least one PoE in the 'present' with Desmond.

Here's the list (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/assassins-creed-brotherhood/achievements/)

Sweet!
hmm it says "Find 1 Artifact in the Present"
does that mean there are more you can find??? I hope so!

Or perhaps artifact refers to just old things of interest that where lost in the attack on the villa.

like, oh i dunno... a second hidden blade?

Altiars Armor would be sweet to find, lol

"What's interesting is Desmond can now leave the Animus at any time, leaving you free to browse e-mails, chat to the cast and explore Monteriggioni for artifacts. At first glance this appears to be simply an option for you to take a breather, but it's another example of fresh ideas Brotherhood brings to the series."

Got it from this. I screamed in glee.

Yeah it really does, I felt bad reading it but I could never resist spoilers. Part of the interview basically outlines the entire beginning of the game in detail.

SPOILERS FROM THE ARTICLE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED:

Wait, so Lucy and Desmond are looking for Ezio's Piece of Eden? Didn't Lucy say it got destroyed in "the accident" during AC1? That whole mess at Denver Int'l Airport, remember?

In some interview that got released today they said that you play as Desmond only twice in AC:B but I'm guessing they're big chunks

@Deathgrimm666 i think you are right because he said YOU CAN play as Desmond but the "2 big chunks" that he was talking about actually progress Desmonds' story... The link to the article at the top of this thread, i know you don't want to read because of spoilers and such, confirms this...

Maybe you only have 2 story parts with desmond but nothing stops you from running around in Monteriggioni as Desmond. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

"the modern day stuff will be platform (not combat) focused segments that take up about 20% of the story campaign."

Found this here: http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPa...set=1&cId=3181979&p= (http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?pager.offset=1&cId=3181979&p=) ahead of time, it tells about 3 hours of gameplay so there is a couple of SPOILERS in the article.
